Good for you for still dressing up; what are you going as?
I don't dress up anymore, but used to when I was teaching elementary school, and then later when our son was little.
We give out treats, for sure - it's been varying in our neighbourhood the past few years, probably averaging around 50. LOVE seeing the kids and their costumes!

We're way out in the country so we never get any kids. My friend and I are taking little guy out trick or treating, he's going to dress up as Batman. I really don't want to dress up but my friend is forcing me LOL.
I don't really do parties or anything but I do have a tradition... I watch "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" on TV every year! I bought it on DVD last year so I actually watch it two or three times but I have to watch it on TV too LOLSoft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur... happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr purr purr

I live in a high security condo building where we use fobs to get to our floors and can't go visiting other floors, so I doubt we will have anyone. Doesn't matter to me either way since I will be working during the day and then going to school in the evening and won't get home until around midnight that night.
I am buying a top hat headband to wear to work and school though if my prof will let me wear it in class LOL!

We take the kids out fairly early and do maybe a block or two (they're still small so that's more than enough), then we give out candy as soon as we get home.
Both the kids dress up and then DH and I usually dress up a little bit -last year I just dressed in Orange and Black, this year I might do some fairy wings because DD wants us to match. lol.

I loved getting dressed up, but havent done it for a few years.
My friend made a last minute attempt to dress up one year. He stuck a pringles chip on to his shoulder, and went out as "the guy with a chip on his shoulder" sooo lame haha.
At a party one year, we dressed up as other party guests who we knew were going to be there. We got headshots of them, then printed them off on the computer and made masks with them, and dressed how they did.It was hilarious just making the costumes.Do you want to buy and sell Bitcoin? I probably won't do much of anything as I have been so tired lately. We get maybe 1-3 kids a year knocking on our door, so we buy one very small bag of candy and my DH takes the rest to work in his lunches as a special treat. We don't carve a pumpkin, but I normally make pumpkin pudding (something like pumpkin pie without the crust) and roast us some pumpkin seeds for the evening... to me, that's one of the best parts of October We sometimes watch the Hallowe'en specials on TV; I also like the Charlie Brown one.
As for costumes, I do normally wear something fun, but not a full-blown costume (e.g., a skirt with a pair of funky patterned tights, etc.); I guess I could wear an orange shirt and my stomach could go as a pumpkin, assuming I actually look round by the end of the month (I can still pass as not pregnant, even at 6 months.... weird, but I love still wearing a few pairs of my normal pants )

My Halloween graveyard is going up tomorrow, but I am not putting out the automatronics until the day of so as not to get them ruined by wind or rain ( too freaking expensive!). I get about 13 kids and they each get a 15x16x6" bag stuffed full of regular sized treats. I decorate the inside of my house as well, this year all white with touches of bloody hand prints, black accents and black lights. We are dressing up as zombies this year. DH is still building props for me, so it's going to be GREAT!!!

I like Halloween. We usually decorate the inside of the house but not the outside or yard. We never get a single trick or treater because we are at the edge of town on a very busy highway. But we always have a pumpkin carving party a few days before and everyone carves one or more pumpkins. The kids stick to the standard cut out eyes and mouth while me and DH tend to do the pumpkin shave and complete for the best pumpkin between the two of us. Best part? Roasting the seeds later!
I typically dress up each year when the kids go out. DH does not. I don't have my costume planned for this year. Guess it'll be something last minute again. I tend to do a homemade costume of some sort for myself. Right now I'm focused on trying to find the horse costume youngest DD wants in the size that fits. Apparently horse costumes are popular in the 6X and under crowd; not so much in the older group."Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle

I live out in the country so we only get the same kids every year. Due to the amount of candy we give out, I think it is a well guarded hot spot among them!!
