Currently looking for work - was laid off in the summer due to renovations came back to work not even 1 month and got laid off again - kinda stressing atm as my EI runs out in like 3 weeks

Question: what is your "job"? Including full time mommy-ing and other occupations!!

I am with you - I will trade my 2yr old or my 5yr old for a newborn ANYDAY!!!!

As for daycare costs if I can do it being a single mom so can you! Currently I pay $826 a month in daycare costs sooooo looking forward to that being only $458 next year when my oldest is in full time school

I'm currently playing mommy full time and Pammie i will soooo trade a cute little newborn for a defiant 3 year old any day hahahaha I swear 3 is just 2 with an attitude. I'm not sure which one of us has had to take more time outs this week BAH!

Anyway....in a normal non-full-time-mommy year i work in marketing. I'm supposed to go back in march but outrageous daycare costs have me spooked. I may have to rethink the career plan...

On an unrelated note - today is my fur baby's 6 month anniversary of being a food controlled diabetic! She has not required insulin shots since May! Woooo hooo!

im finishing up a project today will wrap and include it as well then wrap my buddies' packages and with help from hubby send it on its way ASAP!

Today is not going right at all

1. Go to take my kids to school/daycare and the heat in my car doesn't work!!! Nice $150 car bill right there
2. Figured I would put away some dishes, and a corningwear baking dish slipped out of my hand and landed on my toes - OMG it hurts - it happened only minutes ago and my little toes are already black and blue

What else can go wrong now??

I know, it's so hard to leave your Baby at home! When I had my babies, maternity leave was only 6 months in Canada. Can you imagine going back to work when your baby is only 6mo old? Hang in there, it will get easier...

First day back at work and I'm a wreck... doing work and crying for no reason... thinking about my lil pumpkin and miss her so badly.
It doesnt help that I work with patients and some I havent seen for so long and they of course ask me about my baby... makes it hard to get my mind onto work and off of my baby... =(

well buddy i completed my final project today for your and your family. hope you can forgive the itty bitty issue with it. tried my best. anyway its all packed in their. i was going to wrap it all festiveyish like but decided just to make the box itself look purty instead. hope you understand.

OMG! I would Kill for 826! I'm convinced alberta daycare has to be the most expensive in the country. I'm looking at closer to 2000 a month for both my kids....and im not talking about anything fancy. Just straight up daycare. MENTAL!! Odds are i'm going to have to find a way to work from home because that is REDONK!



AND I ran out of tape. Both packing and scotch. off to the store i go again after naptime. GRRR

I work for Bell Canada Field Services and before you all start sharing your Bell Mobility stories of frustration with me - I don't work in Customer service or Billing! hehe EVERYONE have a nighmare story about Bell Canada, sometimes I try not to reveal my place of employment lol

But 95% of my free time and 50% of $$ is being taken by my girls dancing. I can totally relate to Dance Moms, except the fact that I have to work every day

Now that all the packages are being mailed...I would love to just throw out questions to get to know some of you better. feel free not to answer!

I'm a social worker! I work at a hospital right now but an soon switching to a government job working for the Ministry of Children and Families (child welfare and protection).
