well. im ALMOST done.. just have to finish stitching a few decorations on some material and then hot glue so 'sock' hats onto the snowman ornaments and im done.. phew.. I don't think I'll ever do this again. i'll take pics tomorrow morning and send them to jeze.
for now im having some quiet time with hubby and kids watching Its a wonderful life.

Did a partial redemption today and think I drove peachykeen NUTS with my unorganized skills . In all fairness I did warn her I had NO idea what I wanted and she still went with me LOL. Due to my lack of organization, I will go back again tomorrow for another redemption, prepared of course .

OMG, I am SO tired...... Went to bed at a decent time last night, but was wide awake at 530am because my back hurt. Baby slept in till 7am of course LOL Anyways, headed out of town at 9am by myself to go do my SDM redemption and some other shopping. I did end up redeeming for the top level and got $80 in formula, about $60 in diapers, stocking stuffers, and a couple household items I needed. Only paid $14.08 (mostly taxes...) Felt so awesome to walk out of the store with a buggy full of stuff and barely paid anything for it! So much fun! Then I still had to go to Walmart, eat lunch, RCSS, and a flower shop to get my mom's pointsettas. Anyways, almost done all my Christmas shopping, probably just one more trip out of town should do it.

Got home about 2pm, unloaded everything and finally got to eat Day 1 out of my advent calendar and open my Day 1 prezzie from Pumpkin! Her "craft" of a coupon covered basket and its filled with sample goodies! Love it! It looks just fine Pumpkin, stop thinking you did a bad job, i like it and i will definitely use it to store all my sample goodies in! Anyways, here's a pic!

Yes, I had to sacrifice some coupons in order to complete my craft on time! I didn't have enough expired or soon to be expiring coupons... I thought I did... but once I started.. I had to finish

I am so glad that you liked the first day prezzies, I was worried about the salts as I used certain essential oils that some people don't like the smell off. But I hand picked them for their healing and relaxing properties. Everything a new mommy would need

Denise! Thank you so much! The bath salts smell wonderful! Ivenever had homemade ones before but I may just have to give it a shot after smelling these! Now, to figure out how to convince daddy that mommy needs some bath time!!! The 'baby's first Christmas' ornament is gorgeous and very timely! We were out yesterday and as you know, this year it's the 'fun' year for decorations. I of course have all blue and silver and white decorations (think icy theme) so we're starting from scratch. I've managed to decifer that when don says 'fun', he means individually selected (and expensive) ornaments. You know, like you get one or two new ones a year and eventually you have a tree full of ornaments with memories and meaning. It took me about 3 store of him saying 'I guess they don't make things like they used to' before I figured it out. He has no interest in any of the sets of balls etc that we could use on the tree (and afford!) and he doesn't want to buy a tree's fu ll of individual ornaments...so ummmm...yah. Now, with this new ornament from our buddy, our tree will have exactly 4 ornaments. 'Baby's first Christmas', a little clay ornament kit I got at hallmark to press her footprint into, a 2012 ornament (like the one k8 received today) and the ornament I picked up yesterday that's the grinch & says 'baby's first grinchmas' (muhahaha). We also managed to pick up a few hideous stockings and a new tree skirt (they're actually cute, but I will NEVER admit that to him!). Can't wait to move in next week and set it all up! PS - My little bunny has finally bored of her bouncy seat with the sparkly ornament hanging from it after about 20 mins! It's a multipurpose gift! PPS - if anyone comes across a set of ornaments ready made with a decade of memories please let me know. I'd love to get one for don since cdn tire, Walmart and winners all seem to have failed him on selling such a 'set'

I got a wonderful perfect present, the book " the secret life of bees". One that, just the other day, was suggested to me as a good read. So tonight is a relaxing night with my new book (which will help pass the time till I get to open another one)

YAY day 1 is here!!! Trent got a box of Lucky Charms cereal from Jezebel and he thinks he has totally hit the jackpot Thank you Jez and I got 2 hair treatments (desperately needed) and the cutest Christmas note cards, Thank you Melissa. I don't know how to resize the photos so I won't attack the thread with a huge photo every day. I'll try and take one at the end of the week

ok today was an eventful day !! Hanging out at a craft sale with GP an her dd...it was fun although I did not look at any tables !

I also did not do a redemption today even though I have been planning for this since last year.....

you see I was coming down the stairs this morning as was Jezz.....well when I was almost to the bottom Jezz decided to stop and roll over.....being her ever so cute self....I tripped over her and fell down the stairs

Klepto loaded the the car for me...I still went to the craft sale...I tried to keep my foot up ...had to take off my shoe as it hurt so much I still went but felt upset cause I planned my car rental...craft show and redemption so far in advance....and now can hardly walk .......I did have a yummyy supper and GREAT company at a diner in Lorrette...GP is pretty flippen awesome as she was so helpful for me today !!!

if my foot is not any better I will get it checked tomorrow (I have broken it before and by the feeling I suspect it is more than a sprain )....after at least 1 redemption I want to do with my mom so she can pick whatever she wants
