He was okay with the help of Pepto However, we were lucky... they were not solid and/or dark and he is over 100lbs... vet said all of that was in "our favour"

Question: Do you like cookbooks, what kind?

Yes- but I honestly don't use them. I would however appreciate a couple of your tried and true recipes written/typed/copied though. Cookies, desserts or easy casserole types are our favourite

We came home to a mess and a sick dog... he ate the bow, wrapping paper, cardboard, plastic AND the chocolates. We called the vet right away and thank goodness they were cream filled... and not solid or dark. Although the vet was right about him having a VERY sick tummy for the next few days.

We had the same issue last Christmas day......except it was raisins! Our hound had gotten the pan from the sink and had raisins (from Cinnamon Buns) left in it! Luckily he wasn't alone for long, but an emergency vet trip and a stomach pumping does not make for a happy hound (or hubby) on Christmas day!

fave hot beverage: coffee
Christmas colors: any color under the rainbow, the more the better
Love cook books, don't really have many so any but fancy cooking ones would be great

And pumpkin great reminder about the dogs,i think it's going to be a challenge this year with puppy but since it will be only me this year i think maybe i'll just put everything on the kitchen table lol.

under 5: nail polish, magnetic alphabets and/or numbers, 2 mini dustpans and brooms(yes the kids WILL clean...in my dreams)
under 2: felt for crafts, ballpoint pens, pom poms
From the dollar store is fine. Of course I trust my buddy to use her judgment and not sent total junk.

oh gosh it was hard enough coming up with the first list lol

$10 doggy nail clippers the ones that you stick there nail through the hole and the blade comes up
$5 fuzzy Christmas socks
$2 cinnamon or Rootbeer candy canes
i know not 3 but this is soooooo hard I just like the buying for my buddy part

LOL! My Cleaning Company must be a calling...My first thought when I read Pumpkin's post was, "Ewww...What a mess! I would NOT want to have to clean that up!"
