Jezebel's Surprise Advent Package Train

I am allergic to pine and baby powder scents, and I really dislike black licorice and dried fruit. There isn't much I don't allow in the house except maybe toy guns but my son is a little old for them now anyway. What I really want more than anything is 4 hours of totally uninterrupted sleep so if you can find muzzles for my husband and son, some quiet socks for my dogs feet and a big padded tail covers (they are so loud when they bang them off the walls racing the halls with excitement) some duct tape to tie the cat to a chair with so he will stop knocking stuff off the counter all night then I would LOVE you forever....I just need some sleep and all of the people and critters in my house are so LOUD....sigh. Rant over....again I will be totally thrilled with whatever you send

So is everyone waiting to see what their new buddies get in their advent package before you start shopping or are you starting now?

I'm getting a lil now but since the tracking numbers need to be given to Jez before Dec 28th, I don't want to rush my shopping for my new buddy between Dec 26-28... Some things I'm going to get are related to the things they like so they may or may not have already gotten it in their advent pkg... I hope that makes sense.

allergic to citrus here (orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit) ditto to detesting roses/potpourri - its just too much. Love vanilla scent.

no spending limit but you must send atleast 2 homemade gifts...doesn't matter who made them..but they can't be store made....as I said earlier don't run to the $$store for everything (I get asked this about 10 times every train) ...this is just suppose to be a fun no pressure mini train so there is no wish lists or how many gifts sent ...if you only choose to send the 2 homemade gifts that is okay also

I like the idea of the mandatory 2 homemade gifts :D one is already wrapped but the other?? hmmm

Hello Fellow Riders,

As some of you might recall, Juliep posted about a fall she suffered and her hurt ankle. We have recently learned that she required surgery.

We are very sorry to hear about this and wish juliep a very speeding recovery!

Unfortunately, juliep did miss the mail date before she was told she would need surgery . At this time, her parcel has not been mailed.

We all know that “life can happen” and we are not trying to imply this package train is the most important thing on earth. We all know that is simply not true. However, we have rules in place to protect all the riders and to ensure that everyone has a positive experience.

We strongly believe we could have helped juliep in this situation had she contacted a member of the package train team privately and earlier.

The package train team has given this situation a great deal of thought and we sincerely hope you all understand our decision to have juliep sit out on the next package train.

Looking ahead, if any rider of a package train is having a hard time meeting the mail date (or any other problem regarding the package trains), please pm any member of the team (Jezebel, Jody22002, Peachykeen2007 or Pumpkin9211).

yikes, can someone kick my butt next year if i even mention doing another bazaar here on my own.. wow.. nearly a months worth of work, and a straight near 8 hours today just on my chocolate treats. im tired. hubby is just shaking his head.. i can say they (my treats)do look awesome. just hope its all worth it.. anyway.. i can't wait for Saturday.. well technically sunday night as it'll be all over by then.
