This whole thing seems suspicious to me. Where did this flyer come from? Why is it so obviously cropped off around that one section? That is not a regular picture size at all, so it was deliberately cropped. As for the ripples in the pages, they could have photo-shopped it, printed it out and then wrinkled it afterwards. Has anyone actually SEEN a real flyer who can confirm its validity?

I'm normally one for a conspiracy theory, but numerous people are getting confirmations on these numbers from various locations- I think that it's a done deal.

It is a done deal - I spoke to my SDM manager who confirmed it from her system (she couldn't believe it was not $250 either!) and she got a memo confirming the advance redemption at her store.

I have placed my pre-orders accordingly!

Not only can you redeem from it, each lot has bonus points attached. So if you buy 500 lots, you'll "make money" on it.

My guess is the flyer was pre-planned for stock purposes so we are stuck with a craptastic flyer and lower redemption levels

I agree - I have never done the Mega Redemption. Last year, I was too angry with SDM for freezing my account because of my history of "excessive purchases" (long story!) and the year prior, I didn't find anything I wanted to buy. The flyer was unappealing!

Just remember, in Dec, you'll be seeing a lot more sales from various manufacturers as they will need to hit their sales target for the year. Retail sales in Canada have been really soft in the last few months - the latest one was poor as well.

well, everyone seems to be hearing different things I guess. I went to SDM today and was told that this upcoming weekend isnt the mega redemption, just a regular spend your points event. She said mega would be at a later date. Seems to be a lot of stories going around, from lots of sources but according to them, there would be another after this. So I guess time will tell.
