Birthday Party - for me! - I started when I was 29 to have my "Last Birthday Party Ever" (so I wouldn't turn 30) But everyone loved it so much (in the middle of January when everything is blah!) that I had to keep going - last count, I believe was my 29th annual "Last Birthday Party Ever".
People could invite whomever they thought would have a good time. We would usually have Karaoke. There were romances, marriages begun and ended at those parties. In later years we would just go to a local pub and have fun! I always brought a "timeline" where people had to sign in where they had first met me and how along my lifeline. Fun, Fun, Fun!

I was in love with the poetry of Raymond Souster - a Canadian Poet who's "real job" was working as a Securities Officer for CIBC in Toronto. I did a research study on him for my Canadian Literature course in University. I looked him up and asked him to lunch - I was about 23 - he was about 50. He came and met me and was very gracious and gave me some autographed copies of his books of poetry. (I think they would call this "stalking" now!)
