I use Cover Girl - frankly, it's better than any other pricier brands I've tried.

I've been using maybelline fit me pressed powder, bought it cuz i needed it that day and it was cheap, but i'm pretty suprised I like it a lot...If your looking for an absolute flawless look, the physicians formula in the metallic blue packaging is great to finish off your face (only if you want to be flawless and like the makeup look)... it has shimmer in it.

I use foundation and powder from Lise Watier. I bought it during a redemption and love it. I have uneven skin, and this gives me amazing coverage.
Love like crazy everyday and smile.

Essance is also a well-known brand. I would love to use the products of Essance

for a cheaper powder I love Rimmel pressed powder in the clear compact...it really controls shine and doesn't look cakey.
more expensive one I use is Cover FX pressed powder....love the coverage it gives me!

ELF's HD powder or MUFE HD powder are also great. Only if you have fair skin though, I don't think it would worker on darker skin tones.

Great thread! I was planning on doing the same thing! I use Jane Iredale (salon product)....it's very expensive. I was hoping to get one at the redemption for free and was also wondering what brand to buy ???? I was thinking Physicians Formula (but my SDM doesn't carry the one I want) or the new Cover Girl/Olay one ??? I like mineral makeup personally.

I'm totally in love with Jane Iredale products! Their pressed powder is for sure my favourite.
Yeah it's expensive (about $60), but totally worth it. A little goes a long way, so the compact lasts a really long time, and the coverage is amazing. It's also all-natural minerals, so it's great for your skin (won't clog pores etc), and it's SPF 25. Also it's backed by the Skin Cancer Foundation.
All their products are amazing, i'm so hooked! Would definitely give it a try if you're willing to spend the money, but like I said, you won't regret it

Clinique, matches nicely to my skin, doesn't have that powdery look....

I like Clinique, but I'm not sure if you can get it at Shoppers.
