Today was the first day where I felt like a serious couponer. I love it!

I had been accumulating some coupons for a while and this week I went to Michael's to pick up a coupon organizer (purchased with a 40% off coupon of course! ). Before I would use coupons whenever but now I am dedicated to using the coupon when the item is on sale. This week I was following different threads on this forum to help me figure out my game plan and today I was off off and away!

No picture of my goodies but at Loblaws my bill rang up to $51 and after coupons it was $29.29 I had to pick my jaw up from the floor! And nearly everything I purchased was on sale! Lots and lots of savings for me.

Today was also my first SCOP experience. There was a bin of St. Ive's lotions on sale for 3.99. I love St. Ive's and I had a coupon zone coupon for them as well so I was super excited! Normally a bottle costs $5.99 and I was going to get it for $2.99. It rang in as $5.99 and when I pointed it out the casher the discrepancy between the register and the bin, she made the correction and gave it to me for free right away.

As cheesy as this sounds, I feel so proud of myself! Hahaha.

That's a great brag. Not cheesy. I like it when I stand up for myself too. Good on you for letting the lady know it rang up wrong. You deserved the right price. Or in this case now free.

Super-smart! I was just at Michael's today, buying a bunch of stuff for DD's school project with their 20% off coupon. I should have shopped for an organizer for myself, too. Now I will keep that in mind when I go back with my next coupon!

They are nice! I looked at the ones at dollarama but they didn't tickle my fancy. The organizers are $5 at Michaels but with a 40% coupon it was 3.39 I believe? And it comes with a mini pad of paper!

Congratulations. You turned a $1.00 coupon in to a $5.99 deal!
