    It is just like a few years ago before Wal Mart took over Woolco. Woolco would have $1.44 days and sure they did lower some things to $1.44 or $2.44 but they would also raise a lot of prices to $1.44 You really have to look for a bargin in some stores!

    I remember the cheese used to go up in price on $1.44 day it was like $7.44 and people used to go crazy buying it.I was a kid not very good in math but even I saw it was cheaper every other day of the month.
