AWESOME!! BUT DAVE, ARE YOU GIVING THEM THE FOOD THEY NEED?? . . . I hate to stifle the joy, but those little guys sound like they're pretty young. You can get kitten pablum from the pet store. It's critical they have all the nutrients at this stage in the game.

LOVE THE STORY! You'll have a great time with them. I have 2 dogs 2 cats and tho I am a dog person, I love (and spoil rotten. . .just to be fair) my kitties too. Their independent attitude and crazy antics are sure to make you laugh. . . besides which, there is NOTHING in the world like a purring cat.

Awww they are so cute! Cats seem to be good at worming their way into people's hearts. My Dad was a dog person and never wanted cats at all...but now he has 2 and is crazy about them (I mean, he has conversations with them and everything lol)

I am so happy you posted this thread because now I can hijack it with reruns pics of Hamlet ( who was saved from a dumpster!!)
I do know what you mean about the caution with the dog vs cat thing. My 2 shih tzu's have been awesome, however Hamlet hisses at them every time he even sees them across the room. Eventually we will get there, right now the focus is on watching Claudius doesn't maul him too much, he is the same species as Hamlet, but has about 12 lbs or so on him.

First pic is the day after DH brought him home being seen at the vets office. DD's cell phone is next to him so I would remember his size. Then I cleaned him up and did what every cat owner does...take silly pics of them either wearing clothes or pretending to be celebrating some event ( in this case Christmas)

Dave, I knew you were setting us up, but I never expected such a beautiful story....yes, they chose your home for a reason. They knew they'd find love inside...and they did....you've been blessed.

I'm a dog person all the way, but if a kitten wandered in, and in spite of my hubby's protests, I doubt I could ever let it out of the house again...I love all 'critters'.

The past few days of having relatives here, we watched a few episodes of "Tinkerbell" with our grandson, who loves those shows, and one of them (I think it was the latest movie?) had all manner of bugs and creepy-crawlies helping each other, and I reminded him that they're all worthy of a life and we never, ever hurt them...and he reminded me of the time I told him last year not to step on an ant on the patio!! He didn't...and I hope he never does....

Thank you for that incredibly moving story......only you, Dave.....only you.....

Gaius is next to me now, I think he wants to know he's still loved. He likes under the face scruffings not on top of the head. We adopted him out as a pup and the new owner brought him back a month later. He and their other male dog didn't get along. I think they may have wacked him on the head when he fought the other dog and that's why he's shy to have anyone go near the top of hlis head now. But he sure loves being scruffed on his neck and under his jaws!

He's a good boy, yes he is!

your DD's face is exactly the same as my DD's face....kitty love written all over it! I could never have store bought an item that would give her the joy and enjoyment this little guy has. Now cleaning the litter box, we will need to post reminders for her about that. lol

I'm glad you came over to the "cat side"!!! I was worried when I saw the title of your thread. I am in a small condo, so cannot have a dog. I love my 2 Siamese cats so much! They give so much to you. Mine are very friendly and loving, I raised them that way. They always have to sleep beside me in the bed, side by side. They look almost identical as they are brother and sister. The antics they get up to!!! lol Especially, the boy, Charlie!!! So funny!
