We are doing no harm to others,
& we do manage to keep our druthers,

The best thing about coming to this page is the unity of all of you wonderful peoples. We all have things going on in our lives & things that make us tick.

Well, nothin's sliding off me lately!
Of course, if I actually concentrated on losing I can do it, but I'm just not
motivated in the summer. Too many opportunities to eat out, bbq, have
wine on the patio.....ice-cream.....sigh...but for now, I'm maintaining (mostly)
and that's about what I can expect from me in the summer...

Anyone else find that it's harder to lose in the summer-time??

I am still chuckling at the homicidal punchline. Oh well, laughter really is a weight loss regime these days, i jiggle more when I laugh, counting that as a workout! Thanks Lynn!!

Vacationing. So little DD (Celiac) can eat without me cooking from scratch. Though I brought some GF with us I am sacrificing with her. I may lose this vacay.

We had a gang over on the weekend so I bought stuff that normally isn't on my diet. Ok so most of it was taken away in doggie bags and my folks ate the rest of the chicken. Just when I think I am in the clear my son goes to WM and buys Cheese Whiz (the biggest jar, god knows what he paid for it) and tostitos . I love CHeese Whiz, HELP!!!!!

You're not getting much help from me, Sweetie!! I had a geez-whiz and (diet) miracle whip sandwich on WHITE breat for lunch this afternoon! How illegal is that??!! It wasn't even the low-cal geez-whiz.....gah!! The lady is a tramp!!!!

FYI (and no I am not trying to convert anyone)

Before we went veggie I was not able to tolerate the heat at all. Yesterday it was 30 + humidity about 40!!! Before I would have sat inside and vegged out all day exhausted from just sitting. Yesterday I went out at 9 and didn't come back in until 8!!! I cut the hedge , the grass, did all my major mid-season pruning and other things. Yes I was sweating but not exhausted at all. I started to notice it last summer also but this summer it's even better. My nutritionist friend tells me this is one of the side effects of being veggie and why vegan athletes do better in heat also. Woohoooo!!! Needless to say it does wonders for hot flashes also (almost non existent).

That's a B I G lie Patty my dear . There is no way in he!! that you laid around inside before!!!!!!!!! You my dear are a machine, a crazy mad machine. Just look at all that work you did in the yard last month.

I've missed you all so very much. With hit and miss internet service, it gets frustrating. Loocie, can I join the skank club??? I love the housing facilities, can I get a room at the top...with a view, I promise to be skankalicious, only vacation in the most skanky of places and promise to help build the skank club. I swear, LMAO!
