That's awesome!! I have been slowly reclaiming our basement. We moved into our house when my daughter was 8 months, so alot of stuff was put in the basement and left there. I didn't go down there too often, as it is partially finished and wasn't really child friendly. Now that both my kids are in school this year, we are slowly getting a rec room going where we will eventually be able to send the kids to get them out of our hair, lol!! I think this a great idea, thanks for posting this link :0)

How long do you cook them for? I need step by step instructions, otherwise I suck a cooking....

Question about sending- Do people usually wrap the items in the box, of just pack them carefully and mail off?

I only wrap the fragile ones. Looks like I won't be mailing until tomorrow, unless hubby gets home early, the I can walk my package to the PO sans kidlets!

So I took photos of my freezer (which needs de-cluttering (which auto correct just changed to deck uttering lol) but I don't want to waste the food & none is expired) & my "pantry" which is actually organized but doesn't look it because its small & awkward! And because I know you all wanted to see lol

Eeks! I only have 7 individual packets of carnation flavoured hot chocolate in my stockpile! Which should last me 2 days tops! Buddy if you haven't sent, I would LOVE stuff! And hint hint for future buddies!

I have a deep pantry so I did a Pinterest tip on the cheap, I put some shoe boxes at the back and put stuff on top of them so I can SEE it back there. Also got a pack of those shoe storage boxes at WM earlier in Jan and using them to organize stuff in. I have a food bank pile and a full garbage bag.
Kinda wishing I'd bought more of those boxes....
