probably the only cat on the planet that likes bath. My parents take their cat to the kitty salon to get a bath and a hair cut similar to K8's cats (except they don't leave a section down the back or shave the her tail) twice a year

Where is everyone? Playing all by myself!( no not with myself Coyote! ) heehee..little man is watching mighty machines(thanks for reminding me Gwenad!) Everyone (even sleepover chicks) are still sleeping,have not had this much uninterrupted pc time in forever!! Jeeze you awake?? I'm calling you next! LOL!

Brother is having us all over for dinner this evening and the Christmas put away/clean up continues today..

My new kitten likes to sit on the bathtub watching me shower, and watching kiddo when he's in the tub. I expect he'll be jumping in one day lol. He loves the water it seems. My other cat, not so much lol. My old cats didn't like water much either, but I remember the cat we had growing up, he liked to watch us swim by walking around the edge of the pool. He fell in a couple times, which was so funny!!

Thank goodness the weather today is good because I have to take my Dad to the airport (super jealous he is going to Vegas for the week).

Recent conversation with DD:

DD: I am going on a road trip to BC for a week with Jade

Me: Really? When?

DD: First week of Feb, can we use your car it is much cheaper than mine in gas and Jade's truck is standard and I dont know how to drive it...you wouldn't want us to get in an accident would you mom because Jade would fall asleep with all that driving....

Me: Thanks for the guilt trip...yes take my car

DD: I love you Mom thank you

Me: Your welcome

DD: Oh I forgot to tell you ... when I used your car the other night to stay in the city during the storm I got a $50.00 parking ticket. It's Randi's (one of her girlfriends), she was supposed to remind me to move my car off the street

Me: "SIGH" (decided to keep my mouth shut)

Day 2:

DD: Mom, can I borrow 40 bucks until I get paid?

Me:..... I hand over the forty and keep my mouth shut again because I have visions of me going into a total meltdown

How the heck iis this girl going to afford to go to BC???!!!!

Some tough love needs to happen over here.

My eyes are blue.

We had pizza for dinner last night. (I know, I know, I'm not very good at sticking to my New Year's resolution). My back is spasming---which is the worst pain ever! And DH is working night shifts. Pizza wasn't the best plan in retro spect because it was salty and I had to get up 4 times last night to pee.

OMG the stomach flu has gotten me....I am SO tired of this winter. It has been one illness after another I've been up all night and don't see sleep coming anytime soon. I thought I missed this one

I hope you ladies feel better soon!!!!!!!!

I have a day of finishing my packing and doing the last weighing of the suitcases and then I am DONE! I will then move on to my purse.

I also have laundry to do today. I bought new pantaloons and I don't know if I like them. The feel "scratchy". Im hoping some fabric softener does the trick!

Thanks for all the compliments ladies. I think this group on SC is flippin' amazing. Its nice to have a group of women who are smart, talented, funny and beautiful to talk with. Can you imagine if we all lived in the same city the "trouble" we could get into....

Um... now for my funny little secret. I'm terrified of flying. <-- So, I've been doing some research and do you know that the "fear of flying" doesnt *really* exist?!? Instead, you have a fear of
"loss of control". <-- THIS SOUNDS LIKE ME!!!!

I cry when the we take off. Hubby is well aware and he tries to comfort me... he holds me.. but I still feel stupid for being so scared.

I've been trying to meditate to help ease my fear.

Anyone have any suggestions??

Flying freaks a lot of people out pumpkin. Many people suggest gravol to make you groggy before you get on the plane. I usually like to bring a puzzle book or something to do during take off .

Pumpkin when Nancy, one of my dear friends that has passed, was on SC was on we use to joke that it would be really neat to move all SC'ers to one city and make our own little communtiy!!!!! Oh the good times we all could have just as long as we don't drink wine and clip coupons some of you worry me that you may up just in your pantaloons lol wouldn't that be a site?!!

I hate flying too...best bet for me Benadryl about 2 hours before we board. By the time we are in our seats I'm groggy and ready to nap.

Not looking forward to our next flight, I have to stay up as I will be on kid duty. DH will need to sleep....he's gotta drive for 5 hours after we land in England. (I refuse to drive there, wrong side of the car, wrong side of the road & my crappy sense of direction is a really bad combo...LOL)
