Disclaimer: I'm not a Liberal, nor do I play one on TV. I do know some very nice folks who are, so here's some info.

I prefer Trudeau gets in but frankly anyone but Harper at this point. My views fall into liberal lines no matter who is the leader. It's about social programs, environment, equality, no guns, pro-choice, gay marriage, unity.
Cons. would never get my vote even if they had the most dazzling, promising leader in the history of the world, it's all about policy.

Good thing we all have different views! I'm all about policy to but we don't see ear to ear
I'm abuot maximum freedom!! Excessive rules and regulations are not for me. I'll take that astronaut from Montreal if I were to support the liberals, but to be honest, I vote 2/3 of the time for Conservatives.

It was SO nice to see some real debate yesterday, and finally to see Trudeau challenged.

Garneau backs down to support Trudeau. Thought he would stick it out until the convention but in the long run a good move. Band together to get Harper out that is the real goal.

"It's a fait accompli," Garneau said of Trudeau winning the leadership race.

Well, duh.....
I don't think anyone should have run against Trudeau - totally a waste of their and their supporters' bucks.
No one could win against that hair and everything else; he's ever-so-dreamy! That's most important, right?
Can't wait for Trudeau to be leader!

Unfortunately, he has turned off a large voter base by refusing to take part in the CARP debate when he is in the area anyway for the Liberal Heritage Dinner (their big fundraiser) when the other candidates are. A couple of people at work are not voting Liberal if he gets in as a result, they said they will stay home rather than vote for the NDP or Cons - exactly how parties lose support

You can't be, but CARP are a big advocacy group, older people bother to vote and the other candidates found the time - its not one I would snub as a candidate (as evident by the staunch liberals who told me they won't vote Lib in the next election bc Trudeau doesn't care

Anyone watch Saturday? I ended up watching a fair bit of it.
Gee, Justin had a bad hair day - didn't know it was possible, lol!
Just saw it as such a huge waste of money... when it's obvious he's going to be anointed next weekend.
GOTV!

Saw a bit but I watched the last few. No sense in watching the same thing rehashed over and over.
Hopefully there will be no surprises like when Dion slipped through last time . I had been hoping for Ken Dryden to play more of a role in it back then. Twas not to be.
It will all be over soon then we can ignore them all until the next election.
It's all quite boring compared to what is going on at the municipal level here. lol
