I'm Guilty and I know it.
Saw this on another forum and thought it was cute.
I'll start.
-I secretly lock myself in the washroom with my Ipad with the shower water running. Poor DH
- Sometimes I hate being a stay at home mom
- I've had dirty clothes in my hamper for 6 months ( I hate doing a load for 1 piece of clothing)
-I can't wait till my daughter stops whining over every darn thing.
-I hate reading bed time storiesThis thread is currently associated with: Apple

Ok, I'll have a go...
- I hate having to record books and reading times at home for my kids classes, AND sometimes I fudge the numbers because I know she's been reading more but just not during "reading before bed".
This one's a confession of a wife...
- I sometimes call my husband to help when I really don't need his help I just want his attention.

I have faked sick so that my kids are forced to do things themselves
i have let my kids stay home from school because I did not want to make lunches or get out of bed
I have let my kids eat whatever they want for dinner because I could not be bothered cooking and having them complain that they don't want it.Love like crazy everyday and smile.

When I was a kid my Mom had me convinced I was the best coffee maker in the world. I was so excited about my skill, I would get up early and make my Mom coffee every morning. That went on for years.

lol. Love this thread.
Let's see...
I hate cartoons with a passion and play on my ipod while sitting "watching a movie" with the kids.
I sometimes wish I didn't quit my career to be a SAHM.
I skip pages while reading to DD. Luckily she's 4 so doesn't notice yet.
I can't seem to break DS of his soother, sometimes I wonder if it's more of a "crutch" for him or me???
I worry I favor DS more and I'm stricter with DD. I try and blame it on their ages but I secretly wonder if it's their sex (ie, momma's boy)?

-At least once I week I refuse to make my kids supper, they are old enough they can make themselves something (ages 11 and 13)
- I will go for a walk to the grocreys store when I need a break from my kids figthing even if its just to buy a bottle of pop

Bahaha I LOVE this thread!! I'll go:
-I've told the kids McDonald's is closed just so we don't have to eat there
-I've also let them stay home from school because I don't want to get up early
-I told my youngest that the computer was "broken" just so he wouldn't be on it when I want to go on
-I've lied and said it's bedtime... even when it's not
Sadly, I could go on and on LOL. I adore my guys but jeesh... sometimes they drive me to drinkSoft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur... happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr purr purr

+1 for me on the mcdonalds, sometimes I just get sick of their stuff and would rather go hungry for the trip to go home than eat anything they make over there.
When DD was a little girl, she was a huge fan of Shania Twain, so when we were potty training her, we'd tell her Shania is just so happy she did #1 or #2 in the potty, and conversely, if she had an accident, we'd tell her Shania is sad now... Its crazy thinking about it now, but when you are potty training, you try everything.Last edited by DiamondLil; Sun, Feb 10th, 2013 at 09:18 AM.

This thread cracked me up! Moms are not JUST Mom's, we are people too ( with tricks up our sleeves) because we need LONG sleeves full of tricks to get us through each day!
I posted this on sc somewhere, but it was a minor thing really I did OH so long ago when none of my 3 kids could really tell time.
They would see the hands on the face of the clock and they knew it was bedtime and off they went!
What they did not know was that I had moved the hands of the clock to get them in their rooms about 2 hours earlier!!
You do what ya gotta do eh? My alarm went off everyday at 4:30 a.m. for work, so I HAD to get them in bed earlier just to get my own sleep.
Where is the forgiveness thread now?
