I was not impressed with the bill I got today for water. What used to be budgeted at $50.00 per month has now jumped to $100.00 as we now have sewage charges included. Time to rework the budget this weekend.
This question is for Nancy as I know she uses jars or anyone else that feels that want to answer.
Do you miss not using CC for bonuses that you used to get such as SDM points, PC points, AM, CT money or Sobey's points?
I get all these points right now and do not abuse our cards. I only use them at the specific store and they are payed in full each month

I actually just switched from using mostly cash and sometimes my debit card to using my credit cards more. When I was a teenager I got used to using cash as that was how I was paid and hated using my credit card. I have started using my credit cards now to get cash back.
For me the cash back is worth it plus I can easily look at my statement and see if I am on track with my budget where is I know me and cash and I tend to lose track. Either I do not get a receipt for something or I misplace a receipt for something little and I lose track of what I spent the money on. Also seems like the extra money can be tempting to others, I am not sure if it because it is seen it is so tempting but it seems like anytime a little get saved up there are very quickly plans to spend it.
