Shoe Brag! (With Pics!)

I wanted to share my little shoe brag today. I went to Payless to try to find a pair of shoes to wear to a wedding. I have an awful time finding comfortable shoes, and rarely even look at Payless. Well, I am SO glad I did. I found FOUR PAIRS on clearance priced $9-$19 (Reg $24.99-$47.99), which fit me beautifully and were so comfortable. The sales woman saw me struggling to narrow it down because my budget really didn't allow for all four, and walked up and offered me 30% off ON TOP OF clearance prices, if I wanted to buy all four today! OMG - I wanted to cry I was so happy! I did the math and figured out I would be paying $38 (before tax) for $153 (before tax) worth of shoes (75% savings!) so off I went to the checkout with all four!!!! My post-pregnancy wardrobe is rocking this month, with clearance shops from Zellers, Reitman's, and now Payless.

Even better than them being nice is the fact that they are genuinely comfortable. Most shoes I have tried on the last couple of years cut into the top of my foot over my toes, or elsewhere, after a few minutes of wearing them. No discomfort so far with the test runs on these. I am rather amazed.

Great deal OP! Beautiful shoes and comfortable too? This is wonderful! I have made a few times the mistake of buying beautiful sandals/shoes that were unwearable because it killed my feet. What a waste of money! You are very smart to select shoes that are both very nice looking and comfortable. And on top of that the price is unbelievably low. Love this deal and thank you for posting.

That is one of the problems I always have - I was amazed when I tried these ones on, three different styles, and not one cut across my foot in the spot that usually becomes a problem.

That is what happens to me when I go up a half size or a size, as I usually have to do most places for dress shoes. I walked around ths store in these ones, and they kept snug, so here is hoping they stay that way!
