So I went to the Square 1 TARGET and I have to say I was impressed. Perhaps, I was impressed because I originally went to TARGET Milton but I honestly thought it was a good experience. Prices were not super low and there were not many amazing deals. It reminded me of a better Walmart in the sense that they had employees everywhere! If you needed help, you could find someone within seconds! They had 5 employees in the fitting rooms so everything was moving super quick despite the huge line ups. I was even asked how I was liking my Target experience and if there was anything they could improve on. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable and most of them seemed to be college/university students. A ton of their cash registers were open and I was able to buy what I needed and leave in 2 minutes. They also have their RED mastercard/credit but there was no pressure from the staff. Walmart gets a little annoying with their mastercard. This Target seemed to be 100x more efficient and that's why they get an A+ from me! ALSO, Target Milton had nothing in stock when I went and this store had everything in stock!
PS - This target is always ridiculously CROWDED. I had a hard time getting around because of the number of people but it was still a nice experience

Thanks for sharing! I am going to check that Target out this weekend! The one where I live is pretty good too. I have already purchased 2 of their adorable swimsuits!

I'll see about visiting Square One this summer. One thing that mall has going for it is the close proximity of the transit terminal to the Target end of the mall! So many condos in the area plus GTAers shopping the mall means lots of interest.
Am keen to see the merchandise mix in Mississauga after I see what Hamilton and Burlington stores have to offer for sale.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Great brag, OP.
About Walmart Master Card, the staff get's in trouble if they don't try to sell it. If you want it stopped e-mail Walmart and let them know you are not happy with your shopping experience and why.

Yep, I was particularly good at selling them (I did 26 Cards in two months - people are expected at least one a week, so that's 18 cards more than "predicted").
People get fired if they don't consistently meet the MC quota or if they don't bother to ask. I saw a few people given the boot because of MC issues. It sucks. The same can be said about donations and stuff; they have to ask that 1$ for the Red Cross, or they risk getting fired.
Glad your Target experience was better at Square OneBecause of fake prints, stacking manus is no longer allowed
But you can still stack Coupon Zone + 1x Manu, like other Maxi / Loblaw Stores

All companies are promoting their own branded credit card..."will that be on your Shoppers Optimum Card today" is all I hear at Shoppers when I'm in there, same as Canadian Tire so what is the difference with Walmart asking too....

I'm a bad shopper.
I ignore their question and look at the screen for the total, and get the money out.
I also ignore the "Is there anything else question", which translates to, "Did you steal something too."
Just look at the screen, get the money out and get outta the store.

That would make me sad I'm always super-nice during transactions, and because of a question I have to ask (but do not want to) when I worked at Walmart, I'd get ignored at the end of a good transaction. If the person is nice and gave good service pre-horrible question, a "no thanks" is always appreciated compared to being ignored It is not the cashier's fault after all that the stupid corporation wants moniesmoniesmonies; yet, in some cases, they bear the brute of customer frustration for their selfishness. Always got me a bit depressed.

If you can manage multiple cards it might be a good idea to optimize the points. However if the card gives you points based on a balance outside of the store's boundaries you might as well just get a card from your favourite retailer :D

i always give them a 'no thank you'.
i take the question about 'anything else' to be a last chance for them to do whatever i need them to do during the transaction before they total it out.
i never took it as an accusation. am i missing something? lol. should i be offended? In 2020 I had 100 FREE Grocery pickups! Subscribe to PC Optimum Insiders & get 25,000 PC Optimum pts

Forgot to add, when I am asked, "Is there anything else?". I wait a little longer at the cash, pretending to check my receipt. Many times, the cashier does not ask the same question to the next person or the
person after that. That's what makes me mad - profiling customers!
