The many emotions felt about the PC Plus program. Inspired by seeing Grey's use of the popcorn avatar a few posts back.

Wow, that fabulous! Would love to get the produce bonus offer as I buy lots of produce every week, and RCSS is my main store. But while the regular offers seems to be tailored to my buying patterns (they've been very good for me for past month), my bonus offers seem to be for things I don't normally buy. Maybe they are using the bonus offers to try to incite people to expand their shopping at their stores?

The double overlap offer (one was expiring tonight, the other was good until next week) on produce worked for us this evening... spent near to the $40 and received $16 back in points + another $3.60 for bonus veggie points as well.. Saving nearly half price on fruit/veg was such a gift... not too shabby!!!

I tried to use the 3000 & 5000 offers together tonight, and neither of the points amounts showed up. I was very careful and bought only clear fresh vegetables, and two bags of salads. Definitely fell under the produce category. Store said they couldn't do anything about it, so I left my groceries there. Called the PC Plus customer service line, and they gave me some points to make up for the inconvenience... good thing since the 3000 pts expire tonight. I was so bummed.
I hope I get another offer like that sometime.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me SEVEN times shame on me.
I read people's comments here that they could stack the two produce offers so I thought that finally it would work on my card, and guess what??
NO POINTS. SEVENTH time in a row!!!
My receipt has $22.50 worth of produce listed under the PRODUCE heading. How much more produce can you get?!?!
To make things worse, cashier was snotty too and nothing had a price on it so I had to go back and forth to ask how much stuff cost. WTH? No self checkouts here. This program only lies to me.
I don't care how busy I am tomorrow. I am calling them to demand the points they promised.
I will go out of my way to get meat at the independent butcher so I don't have to give these guys my money.

Blah, went out of my way today to go to RCSS for the double produce offer. Figured they would have better base prices than my local Loblaws. Nope, still overpriced plus Thursday night, it was slim pickings. Wanted strawberries but they were literally rotting.
Spent about $21 but didn't get any points. Looked at my receipt after and realized the hummus dip I bought is categorized as deli. Offer says any refrigerated dip so will have to give them a call.
edit: called first thing this morning, got the points added.Last edited by imagine; Fri, Feb 28th, 2014 at 09:26 AM.

Terrible you are having trouble with getting the points right away!!!
Just to clarify... you loaded your offers online and then swipe your card at the machine at or near the beginning of your order... then insert again to pay? I had trouble getting my points once and it was because I didn't swipe the card (along the side of the purchase keypad terminal). Once I did this everything seems to be working fine for loaded offers... you can see the points being added on the teller's screen as products are scanned. Still find you have to watch the in store ones like a hawk and call if they are missed being added.

Today's points would be good if I needed anything they offered. Only need bananas and strawberries. They offered tin foil, Stouffer's bistro sandwiches (I bought one once), Arctic Gardens veggies (I bought 2 two weeks ago- how fast do they think I'd go through that? lol), canned soup (I bought 20 2 months ago when they were $1 with 1000 pts each).
I drive 40 minutes out of my way to PM at RCSS if my offers are good. Since they are not great, I'll be PMing at my Walmart.
I wonder if emailing PC and telling them I'd shop at their stores weekly if they offered me just produce every week would improve my offers.
