You get the 1000 PC points regardless of what you purchase.
But since milk is actually a 3-star rated product you'll get additional 100 points by Feb 7th.

You have to login to guidingstars.CA with your PC plus account and load the offer... You will get 1000 pts with your next transaction. This offer has been repeating for 3 weeks now.:o

Got a great offer this week - PC Organics milk get 600 points for every $3 spent, and there's a 1000 points offer at Zehrs, where it's on sale already. Then Guiding stars 1000, plus 100 as a 3 star product, and spend $75, get 7500 points. I'm really happy to get an offer I can really use!

Guiding Stars is Loblaws' nutrition program (applies to fresh produce and most PC Blue menu canned/boxed/bagged items) in the store. Grocery items are ranked with 1, 2 or 3 stars. I loaded the weekly 1000 PC bonus points offer on guidingstars.ca today by choosing Loblaws as my store and was able to manually click on the 1000pts offer. Any grocery item you buy that has a Guiding Star ranking will give you 25 PC pts for a 1-star item, 50pts for a 2-star item and 100 pts for a 3-star item.

I got my points inquiry about a third Guiding Stars item ranked with 3-stars to acquire the missing 100 pts from an earlier Jan. shop.
I also checked the Campbells Soup shelf and saw no Guiding Stars ranking so that shop won't get me points (but I did get the 1000 bonus pts from the GS offer loaded onto my card).

My personal PC points offers include 400 pts for every $4 spent on PC frozen fruit and 800 pts for every $5 spent on Manitoba Harvest hemp seeds (but I still have my two bags from earlier this month, so no purchase).

I'm ok with the free points this month. Maybe I'll be able to do another redemption before summer as I'm just under 11000 pts.

Community paper has a small No Frills ad promoting the Guiding Stars offers and indicates that nofrills.ca/guidingstars leads one to the program.

hi, i'm new to the guiding stars. i was wondering does it matter which store I load the guiding stars and which store i ended up shopping at? for example, i go to loblaws.ca/guidingstars and load the offer, but then ended up shopping at a RCSS and bought a starred item. Will I get the 25 points? thanks in advance.

thank you. it's so weird. i got the 1000 pts bonus last week (jan16) but didn't get points for the actual star item. i don't remember if i saw a star on the item sticker or flyer (I only got water and canned chick peas but receipt says i got 1000 pt so one of the item must have been a starred item). its a very small points amount so i'll pretend it never happened lol... have to be more vigilant now looking at receipts and the stars info

No they award the small points altogether at a later date. You get the 1,000 pts for any purchase, not just a starred one. You'll get to reload that offer 1x more next week.

I probably have to do some research. Is it a different app then the PC plus?

No additional app required. No new registration required.

    Quick notes:
. On browser, access Guiding Star site to obtain the 1,000 K bonus points. You'll be required to log into your PC Plus account from here. Here is the link for instructions to load the 1k bp http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/352518-...1/#post6546030
. At same time, you can load your normal PC Plus personal offer
. Next, you must visit any Loblaws banner store, in the same week as the offer, you will receive the 1k bp on your receipt. You can buy anything in any amount. See receipts as proof http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/352518-...9/#post6545251
.Keep in mind, if you purchase any of the Guiding starred products, the promotion gives you extra points (1 star=25pts, 2 stars=50 pts, 3 stars = 100pts) and they are awarded within the 2 weeks (or so).

    The schedule is:
    1,000 bpts January 8th - January 14th ENDED
    1,000 bpts January 15th - January 21st ENDED
    1,000 bpts January 22nd - January 28th IN PROGRESS

Thanks for this. I'm so impressed with this program. I will get signed up asap. Does it matter which store I chose to start with? Does it have to be the one I will shop at next?

FYI on combining offers with redeeming:

I had an offer for 10,000 points WUS $100. I redeemed some points I had accumulated previously. My subtotal went down to below $100, but I still got the bonus points
