Thank goodness. I went to the Dollarama in Vaudreuil (I had not been in a long time) and it has gotten a bit expensive. At least it is worth it with coupons.

Will they be able to send us or anyone a printed or emailed copy of the policy?

okay, so I just read 5 pages of posts, I get some stores are now taking coupons, probaly only a matter of time before many more do. I don't go there very often...but what I want to know is what is coupon worthy at Dollarama??? Do they have crest, gilette, dove, other stuff? If so what sizes? Anyone? I'd love to start coupon shopping there!!!

I just went to my store in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia and used coupons for the little Chef Boyardee bowls ($1), Dove Radiance Enhancing Treatment Advanced Colour Care ($2. 5 treatments x 14 g per box), and Dove single 90g bars ($1.25). I took a copy of the email I got from the head office with me and had no problems, and showed/asked the manager first before wandering through the store and wasting time. He took a copy of the email. The Chef Boyardee twoonies for tummies coupon says 'one coupon per offer' thouh, and thy took that to mean I could only use one coupon while there, which sucked.

I wrote a list of the brand name stuff I saw there as well:

    • $2 - Betty Crocker Mashed Potatoes (compare $ 2.59 at Sobeys Atlantic)
    • $1 Chef Boyardee
    • $1 VH1 Sauce Thai Market (sweet chili sauce)
    • $1 Sunlight dish soap 300ml
    • $1 Palmolive dish soap 295 mL
    • $1 Ultra Sunlight dish soap 305 mL
    • $2 Finish Jet Dry 125mL rinse agent
    • $2 Palmolive 591 mL
    • Vim products (various)
    • $1.25 Glad medium freezer bags (25s)
    • $1.25 Vileda All purpose clothes
    • $2 Lysol toilet bowl cleaner (compare $2.59 at Walmart)
    • $1 Primo Pasta Sauces
    • $1 Campbell's tomato cooking sauce 500mL
    • $1.25 90g single dove bar
    • $1.50 2 x 89g Lever 2000
    • $1.25 425 g Chef Boyardee
    • $1.25 2 x 90g Irish Spring soap
    • $1 St. Ive's lotions 60ml
    • $2 Olay 212mL toner
    • $1 Dove Condition 89mL
    • $2 Arm & Hammer 120 mL toothpaste
    • $2.00 arm & hammer deodorant
    • I was told they carry coppertone sunblock, but they were all out
    • $1 Knorr cubes
    • $1 Knorr soup mixes
    • $2 200g Quaker cereal
    • $1 Dr. Oetker Microwave pudding cake
    • $1.50 BettyCrocker cake mixes
    • $1 Clorox 705mL

The one in Waterloo by the farmer's market and Walmart take them too. The cashiers were unaware just yet, and had to call for help, but they were are really great about it. They were also curious how I knew about it. I think there will be 3 new people checking out smartcanucks.ca tonight : ) One of my most positive couponing experiences for sure.

Whatever lady you spoke to at Head office lied to you... I received a coupon from Reynolds for their Slow Cooker Liners of $2 off... the ONLY place that sold those items (Id been looking for 6 months) is Dallarama... for $2. I called the number I had for H/O which is the number that the managers have for H/O and asked them directly... no they wouldnt take my coupons... theyre dallarama and things are cheap enough for people. I could buy the items and then send in my recipt with my coupons to Reynolds explaining the situation... I called reynolds and they said no they wouldnt accept it either... I was told by Reynolds to start requesting to other stores that they offer the slow cooker liners so I could use my coupon... THAT ticked me off... it isnt MY job to get them their products in store. So needless to say my reynolds coupons went to waiste. They expired just 3 days ago and 4 days ago was the last time I tried to use them at Dallarama. Unless it gets posted on every store window that they accept coupons.. I wouldnt try to use them there. Also... a coupon means taking money off the amount oweing... when we need to call a supervisor to have ONE ITEM VOIDED... this would cause more hassle then needed and managers would be putting an end to it after day 1 of the attempt to accept coupons.
sorry you never got to use your coupons
but as i mentioned my dollarama just started accepting them yesterday. all the workers knew about it and accepted the coupons. she said they received a memo a while back informing them they would now be accepting coupons.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. We do accept manufacturer’s coupons – provided that these coupons are directly from the manufacturers and that we sell products that are subject to these coupons.
Furthermore, there could be exceptions to this principle in regards to some specific products.
