Dumb question....can I give you books off my kobo after I have read them? I just delete them off my kobo but they are still in my library on the website.

I'm not sure about sharing ones you have read and b ought through Kobo. I have only bought two books I think, before my dad told me he could get them for me lol. I've never tried it though. I imagine there is some kind of security on them. Though it seems a little silly since you can share a paper book you have bought, as many people as want can read it!

Today = icky, yucky, poo poo kinda day. However, I have power and no flooding- so I am thankful!

Glad my TO girls are okay!!!

I think its unfair all of you live so close... SOOOOOOOOO I think I should visit and sleep on your couches. I am still waiting for Jez to drive to see me. I told her I would even kick my hubby out of the house so we could go all "crazy". HA!

As a mom, I know how bad I feel when my child gets a cold so I can't even begin to tell you how strong, brave and inspiring Krystal is to live each day to the fullest for her kids while going through something so terrifying! She deserves this and the hospice does too, that $100,000 will effect the lives of so many sick kids and families!

Pumpkin, my SIL lives in the same city as you!! We didn't go visit her when we were in Ontario last fall because she was supposed to drive to see us at their parents house, but was sick so didn't end up coming. But she has a baby now too so we might go visit her there next time we are in Ontario. If so, expect a visit from me for sure! ........but with that being said, we aren't even planning or thinking about a trip to Ontario until next year sometime....maybe spring...or unless we wait till next summer and go for two weeks.

Anybody who wants to visit Ottawa I have a guest room and futon in the basement, but uh it's a bit of a mess Everyone should come here for something lol. Nat and I are already here, and armygirl too! I have the opportunity to travel for work but with kiddo it's too hard, otherwise I would be going to the Tax Centres. Maybe in a few years lol

Not much new here, deposited the cash from our booth on the weekend: $5400! Mind you half of that will go to expenses, but for '3' days work it's awesome!
An hour and 15 minutes to go....
My plan tomorrow is to NOTHING band related! I want to do nothing but catch up on couponing!

Hi girls! Whew what a night! Our power never went in Brampton but my dad's went last night and was just restored about 20 mins ago! My cousin at Jane and Sheppard lost power last night around 6pm and got it back at 2am. My other cousin in Mississauga with 3 kids lost power last night and spent the night up in Brampton by her sister. She went back today to discover her basement flooded beyond repair! She is so devastated because this happened to them 4 years ago before she had baby #3 after a huge snowfall. The ins company gave them grief and they had to itemize EVERYTHING and they took their sweet time helping them. Her husband has been out of work since December, not sure how much more Michelle can handle. Poor thing - I feel horrible for them.

On that note - I feel blessed to have a home with electricity.

Dlee - I also agree with the other voices of reason - DON'T give your ex more to hold over you. Don't log into his fb account.

Sassywife - SO sorry Sophia was puking everywhere - poor little thing! Nothing makes it into the washing machine faster than something puked on - AM I RIGHT LADIES????

On THAT note...that reminds me of something funny. When Matthew was in kindergarten I picked him up from school and he was soo excited to tell me. "MOMMY! GUESS WHAT?? GUESS WHAT HAPPENED TODAY?? THE NEW KID VOMITED ON THE CARPET ALOT AND THE CLEANING MAN HAD TO COME AND CLEAN IT! Yup, that was breaking news back in the day. The expression on his face, he couldn't wait to tell me. LOL!!
