Yep, how hard is it to get just ONE thing correct??? The Timmies near us is famous for leaving something out of your order. Now whenever dh goes through the drive through, he checks his order before he even leaves the window. He had them say to him last week, "How do I know you didn't eat it and are coming back for another one" Seriously???? I'm heading to work, but I have time to waste going through your lineup for a second time???

Sorry but when you have lived through a drought and have seen your horses and cows with ribs showing, I never complain about the rain anymore.
Can someone tell me at what point do you start saying no to family? I am getting so sick and tired of DH's family asking for money. They always want to "borrow" $20.00 here and there. Now they have started asking for $500.00! DH feels guilty because we have a higher income than than his whole family family put together. We have had to pay off his sister's power bill because it got cut off. We are not responsible for their lives but he feels so bad for them. ARRGGGG!!!Just call me Wolfie

I'm the oldest of 8 kids.. I used to be the one they all came to get things fixed.. one day I realised I was preventing them from learning how to take care of themselves.. it was really hard at first to say no but now no one asks.. before they'd just take it for granted.. one sister continued to be a problem for a bit but I handled it the last time she borrowed $500.. I told her to open a bank account and instead of paying me back.. pay the money into the account so she would have a tiny emergency fund.. I know she didn't do that but I don't have to cringe when I see her number on my phone.. she can't ask me to enable her again..

OMG! I knew a wife who would always make supper and her DH would always be late as he was in the local pub. Then he would complain that his food was cold when he wandered home. One day she had enough and taught him a public lesson. One day she made his supper, marched into the pub, slammed his food on the table and said " There's your da*n food!" He was so embarrassed that she never had a problem with him bi*ching again! Love small town antics!!

getting very little respect at work in my new position. Everyone is selfish. Am being expected to process the stuff to the carriers in the same amount of time no matter how late the trucks arrive and the majority of my carts and monos are on the last truck usually!! Well too bad, so sad everyone, take a chill pill, you'll gets it when you gets it, I am NOT a machine!
Thanks for the thread Patty, that felt quite good.
