GeorgiaK, it took me 3 months and finally a threat to smear them all over social media to get a payment. I think they might be on their way out. I hope you get paid!

Here's one under the heading of 'No Good Deed goes Unpunished'
I used to donate blood 40 years ago, but stopped doing so when it became a real PiTA to do so. Red Cross seemed to have the attitude that they were doing ME a favour, by accepting my blood donation. They refused to allow drop-in visits and had traffic congestion and parking problems.
Recently, the new Canadian Blood Services moved to a new location. I thought that I would give them a second, to see if their attitude had changed.
I walked into the new facility and asked about donating. They now allow for drop-in visits. I gave them my ID and proceeded to screening. I answered all the questions and was told that I could never donate, because I may have had a case of malaria in the past. I never confirmed it, but it is impossible to test and malaria can hide in my body for the rest of my life (if it is actually present.) So, I asked them to purge my information from their database. If I could not be of assistance, I did not want my personal data sitting on their servers, waiting for their system to be compromised. They refused and said that it was not allowed by Health Canada.
F*** me. Here I am, trying to help and then getting treated this way. I can understand that my data is needed if I was an actual donor but, since I was disqualified forever by potential malaria, the only point of holding my data would be for a hacker to steal it. F*** me. How am I always so stupid. Should never have given them a damn shred of info until I knew that I qualified. Let this be a lesson to all. Never surrender your info until the very last moment. Looks like Red Cross never changes, even if they change their name. F*** 'emMy food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

Went to Jean Coutu this morning to get a pack of Poise Liners (on sale for $6) and tried to use a $4 coupon. Cashier said that they can't accept it because the item was on "promotion". I told her nicely that I have used coupons on sale items many times and would it be possible to ask the manager. She called her supervisor who then took the coupon to the manager's office. Supervisor came back and said that we usually can't accept the coupon but we will make an exception this time.
If I had a dollar for every time that I have been told that they "make an exception" I would be wealthy. If it was against their policy to accept coupons on sale items, why make exceptions multiple times? Just admit you were wrong!
So irritating.

a small pet peeve. When trying to load my Scene/Freshco/Sobeys offers today I hit an aggravating snag on the login.
What brilliant ( NOT! ) person tinkering with the login 2 step verification thought it was a good idea to give their customers
10 STOOPID SECONDS to get the 6 digit number from their email and then switch back to the Scene site to type it in??
Of course it failed for me 3 times.
I finally phoned them. The CS agent confirmed they've been getting calls about issues logging in.
Eventually ( somehow ? ) I got in. Big deal though, their offers mostly suck for me as I only shop at Freshco.
I feel better getting that rant out....ha ha

Wow just wow...
I cannot explain how much I am frustrated and pissed right now about Reitmans...
About my Jeans Concerns.
I wants to purchase 2 new pairs of Jeans light blue.
Online ,they are 11,99$ on sale clearancde but of coarse none left in my plus size.
Not happy, I sent (*?(*??( 3 e-mails to Reitmans.
To say I want my size at this price.
They finally response to me that like I wrothe my idea I can purchase in size 25 and exchange them in store for size 36..
It have to be same model, same style and size.
Ok.I am ready to order 2 pairs online and do that.
I called the store to see if this size is available in my city store...................AND THE RESPONSE WAS NO!!!!
PER CHANCE I HAD THE BRIGHT IDEA TO CALL BEFORE ORDER THEM ONLINE.,
The person I speaks she have no ideas when she will receive this size...not before the fall maybe....wow
So if I go to the store the jeans not only they will be not the same model but 70$.... !!!!!!
Insane ,none sens....
What a waste of my money and time...
Seriously,Reitmans have a serious problem of available stock!!!!!
No ,thanks I will not paying 70$ x2 plus taxes...I will wait!!!!
Pissed, pissed pissed....The goal is to live day by day not to much thinking hahaha !!!!

I am getting very tired of being asked for a tip on counter service! I don't mind tipping for sit down but there is no way I am tipping for takeout-sorry. Rant over.

@lizzie bargain , I was just saying how tipping culture is becoming too much.
Recently well travelling for work I noticed just how often you are asked to tip. I placed my order online, picked it up but a suggested 20% tip is added and you have to remove it before you pay.
If I go into a restaurant, sit down and have a meal, yes I will tip, but when did it now become the norm to tip for pick up. When I worked in the local pizza shop in high school, we were not getting tipped on pick-up orders. Back then we were taking all of the orders, they weren't being placed online.
Heck, I cannot remember where it was, but I was in a store shopping went to check out and was asked for a tip, I wish I could remember the store.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

I'm in too good of a mood to get flustered so I'll just keep Dolly's song playing in my head.
https://www.facebook.com/reel/1110949010459297
Did a fun shop at NF this morning, excited about all the personal point offers matching with sales I had....one can get GIDDY .
Too bad 2 of the largest point offers never showed up on the receipt! ( 2,500 and 5,000 ) Whatev's ...Missing points inquiry
will fix it.
The real bothersome part was an offer to get 8 smallish sized cartons of Neilson's Chocolate milk for .66 cents each!
They rang in at $1.00 each and even after I scanned my points card the price never lowered!!
I removed them from the order, not paying a buck each for them....came home to verify the offer I had WAS there and valid.
It was in my offers as clear as day!

Stoopid cashier kept insisting the chocolate milk was an APP exclusive offer only.
NO IT ISN"T you bloody twit!!
I told her these are loaded and show up IN my normal regular offers, now they may also be in the APP offers but they are
not the only way to get them.
I phoned OPT. CS and it was confirmed the offer is there. She suggested I go back and buy them, perhaps the price will
come in at .66 each this time? In case it doesn't she said I would have to phone them back again and they will reimburse
me the total amount of dollars I overpaid....IN POINTS! How is that right? I want the money back, not points. She confirmed
there was no other refund option so DS may not get his chocolate milk this time around.
I'm still in a pretty good mood...ha ha

Update: It's all good, received an email to confirm both the 5,000 and 2,500 missing points have been added to my account.
Then this morning I went to a different NF location and got the 8 cartons of chocolate milk for .66 a piece!
DS will be doing a happy dance, BB date not too bad Sept 20th.
Made a last minute decision to dash over to FreshCo and take advantage of the Quaker oatmeal/and or granola bars buy 5 deal.
Got 3 x 1 kg bags of Large flake oatmeal and 2 boxes of the bars, earned 300 Scene points. OOP was only $12.95.
( good timing on this offer as we were down to our last bag of oatmeal )
