I thought dentistry in Quebec was supposedly cheaper than the rest of Canada. My sister's common-law husband is from Que and says that he avoids the more expensive Alberta dentists and tries to wait until he returns to Que for the occasional visit to have any dental work done due to the cost.

Have you considered using student dental services? The universities often allow their students to work on volunteers for significantly reduced rates. You have to be patient, though. It is a learning experience for them.

When I was still friends with someone in a dental hygiene program, she told me the dental clinics were popular at Western University (then UWO) but patients were not keen to wait for long periods of time until clinic supervisor could come over to check work and credit dh student for work done. However, all the paperwork was mandatory as were the mouth checks and look at dental record notations.
The DH students were expected to show up well before scheduled lab time which meant lunch hour was cut or spent in-transit to clinic on other side of city from the college of study. Reason was to ensure proper setup and tools etc were ready at time of clinic start. So much for work/life balance for students (what is lunch?). Parking fees were students' own costs unless they managed to bus in on the student passes.Last edited by Ciel21; Sun, Sep 19th, 2021 at 09:32 PM.

Depends on the "mouthwash" -- without knowing what it was your hygienist was providing, was it an actual mouthwash (to kill bacteria?) or was it some sort of fluoride rinse supplement?
Actual mouthwash (used to kill mouth bacteria) typically has alcohol in it. If so, there wouldn't necessarily be an expiry date because it would take several years for the alcohol to becomes "ineffective". Based on recommended daily usage (or even a fraction of that) it would be assumed that the customer would have EASILY have gone through the bottle by that point. Either way, it might not cause any harm beyond that, just have no efficacy.
Other types that are alcohol free may have an expiry date based on their ingredients. (We have Crest pro-health alcohol-free in our house, and it has an expiry date engraved on the bottle, just below the neck)
Another element is that the expiry date is so many months past opening. So it doesnt expire based on age, but when you open the product. That is a symbol on your bottle that may look like this:
Attachment 370392
Problem is nobody knows what that means, but it means "12 Months after opening". I dont see it often, but I have seen it.
Hope this helps.

You may have to search carefully for a best before date, too. If you look at some soft drink bottles, the date is etched on the plastic, but it is not always easy to see. Sometimes, you have to hold it at just the right angle in order to catch the light and read it. Or, you might have to turn the bottle so that the liquid is/isn't underneath, in order to see the date.
Good luck.My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

I always just use the online request and never chat. I have always been successful in getting my points. Just use the online form on your PC Optimum account or in the phone app. I have used both with success.

I just send off an email because I can't be bothered waiting for a chat. I just wanted to share this because it's so crazy. I got some Charmin toilet paper and it was over $15 and my PG offer for 5000 points didn't apply, so I sent an email requesting the points. This is what I got:
Thanks for reaching out to us with your recent points inquiry. We’re happy to let you know that 4,998 points have been added to your account!
