All Purpose Rant Away Thread - 3.2.1 GO!

DH decided to put himself on his work's call in list (without telling me) because he used most his lieu hours (extra time off) for when DD was in the hospital.

At 2 am I was woken from the phone ringing. I run out to the living room thinking it was an emergency and they hung up by the time I got to the phone. Then I hear DH's cell ringing in the bedroom so off I go to where I just was. By this point DH woke up and got the phone and agreed to go into work.

In the process of the 2 phone calls and him getting up and getting ready both kids woke up! Took me almost 2 hours to get them back to bed. I finally start drifting off to sleep myself when DH gets back and wakes me up starting to explain the call in. It's 4am I don't care!

The last time we got a call in the middle of the night DH's father had a heart attack. Would have been nice to know he was on the call in list, and of course for him to not wake the entire freakin' house in the middle of the night.

Needless to say we didn't get much sleep and today is DD's first physio appointment, blood work and a specialist appointment for her. Ugh.

After a week of not eating meat, I decided to try a turkey burger. Bad idea. 5 minutes later, it all hit! . Who knew I could still projectile vomit? And then this morning I wake up to puddles of diarrhea in the kitchen. Guess Ouija had an upset tummy as well last night. Fun times

I cannot believe I am out of so many things at home...may be slacking out couponing and paying too much attention to Almaysss!

As of today, I am out of:

• washroom cleaner [bought two 2 weeks ago..I wonder if anyone is drinking these in washroom lol]
• toothpaste [bought 8 last year in Dec...my highest so far]
• male razor [not that I care but bros and daddy want]
• Tissues
• paper towel

Here is the rant: my bro hate when I coupon and try to throw them away [yes]...I bought Werther for $1 last month using 50 cents coupons that everyone mock me for that and then I did not have any except one and my 3 bros ate all...i got them tons of free razors when Gillette moved into flexball last year. Now my bros telling my to go grab free razors from places [who-know-what] because they are out of these.

So they hate when I coupon, throw tantrum when I buy things using coupons and STILL want free stuff using coupons. NO I am not going to shop using coupons for them! Did I tell ya they also use coupons sometimes?

And they say girls are complicated!

WTH's going on? Stores keeping changing flyer sale dates. Very confusing, now I have to keep track of which store starting sale on which day of the week. I missed the good old day when Friday is the start day.

yes!! I went through this a while back, JUST now starting to get the swing of things. Sadly I have adopted a whole new plan for keeping our budget a bit more lean by forcing myself to shop just once in the week, either Friday or Saturday. It is very aggravating to have the new start dates anywhere from a Wed ( GT ) to a Thursday ( Metro, FB, WM ) to a Friday NF, RCSS )
I want to know why the stores all did this change??

Products with pumps that don't reach to the bottom to get all the product out and if you take the lid off it doesn't go back on and dries out the product. Either use a longer pump straw or use a squeeze tube/bottle!

1. DO NOT send your child[ren] to a birthday party when they have chicken pox.
2. DO NOT send your child[ren] to SCHOOL when they have chicken pox.
3. My youngest gal caught chicken pox from the same girls that went to the birthday party and their parents send them to school! Upset now, my oldest daughter is going to give birth any day and we cant see or hold the baby. Husband has a bad immune system, and on steroids for his chronic illness. Rant over.

Unfortunately chicken pox is contagious before the rash appears so the parent would have no way of knowing they should keep the child home from school.

I spent $99.99 at Canadian Tire on Thursday, totally unaware of the spend $100 get $25 giftcard back promo.

If I had known about this promo, I would easily spend another $100.

Really hate the cashier for not mentioning it.

Just cleaned the range hood and now lights are flickering when OFF but it is working fine in terms of function i.e. light turns on, fan works etc. I don't know what button I pressed because light has three settings. Dad is going to be really mad! I don't understand why do things always go wrong for me *sigh*
