I have a ratty old rug on the outside doorstep. I moved it to throw it in the garbage. Holy Bat Crap for ants!!!!! Did I get a broom to get rid of them? NOOOOO! Like a little kid, I jump on the cement pad stomping ants. BIG MISTAKE!!!! They fought back. In my ballet flats and up my ankles and up inside my yoga pants! OMG! Ant bites hurt!! So I'm jumping around, kicking off my shoes and stripping off my pants! And of course I have no underwear on and all of this is happening on my front lawn. Thank goodness I live in the country and no one saw me but the dogs thought I had finally ed out

pissed off at air canada - hubby sitting in Toronto airport was suppose to be on the flight back home but they overbooked his flight. and air canada doesn't come to Regina that often so one more plane here or tomorrow morning.
I haven't seen him in two weeks and he is only home for two weeks before he moves to Guelph.

You think you've spotted an awesome tear-pad and you get a bit excited because it's a product you love and regularly buy....or know others love and regularly buy and would probably trade for it. I mean, is there anything better than a new coupon to add to your collection? *Homer drool*

Maybe you think to yourself, "Just think of the savings! Imagine the stockpile I could make with that baby!" Or maybe you think, "Just think of the trades I can make with a few of those!"

So you walk closer to it, anticipation mounting with each step you make down the aisle. "Savings are waiting...move over lady!"... "Geez, could you people possibly walk any slower?" (You don't say these things aloud of course, you are Canadian after all; your ingrained politeness forbids it.)

Finally after seconds that exist in minutes that feel like hours - you reach the display.

TIME STOPS. Heart sinks. Alas, it was not meant to be.

That shiny new coupon was just a stupid recipe.

Okay, maybe that's a bit too far and overly dramatic but yeah, I HATE IT when I think it's a coupon but it's a recipe.

Am I a bad person to say I really dislike kids? :/ I mean, I have one and she's pretty awesome, but other kids... *shudders*

Nope....I have limited tolerance with other people's children even though I have 3 of my own.

There's one of the brood's former friends who I loathed with a passion. I have no idea why, the child just riled me up for some reason...The rest of thier friends are perfectly nice people for teens and pre-teens.

I frequently get compliments about thier good manners and behaviour ....world domination threats not excepted!
