grrr people who bleach things!! if your using a communal washer clean the machine out! i've just had multiple items RUINED because some asshat decided to do a bleach load and there was bleach residue still remaining in and around the machine i'm almost afraid to pull it all out of the dryer to see just how badly the load was ruined

I have managed to misplace/ possibly lose my coupon wallet my stepmom made me. That had approximately $100 or more worth of coupons within it. I'm not sure if I lost it at Supertore last night or not, called them and they said it is not in their lost and found bin. Was going to use those to help cut down on my costs for university. If anyone happens to be going to RCSS Ajax, please keep a lookout for me, it is a grey/white with black stripes material with a dark blue button on it.

DH is home until Wednesday, starting yesterday (we were supposed to all be going to a wedding, but last minute, only DD went with grandma). Yesterday was bad (he has NO idea how I run the house in the morning, getting the kids up and going, breakfast, cleaning, etc etc lol), he got in my way doing cleaning and not on same schedule for food. But today has been nice (only because it's lazy day, and we're just at my in-laws packing up stuff before they move). Hopefully, the rest of the weekend is nice and lazy! Plus side: enjoying spending time with the little one before he starts school (his last day of daycare was yesterday, so he's stuck with me until Thursday :p).

got a $50 giftcard to colour me mine back in spring..was planning to use it this summer as something for me and my kid to do... well the dang studio closed (i was not informed of this until i tried giving them a call-they must have closed within weeks of me getting the gift card).. contacted the company because it's part of a chain they say because it's a gift card(not a paper gift certificate) it can be used at any of their locations which would be fine which would be ok IF they had a location somewhat close/in driving distance/or even on the island...

BUT their closest location is Kelowna which is 6+ hours drive away PLUS a ferry ride (an expensive one at that!) and this is a company where you create something then have to come back at a later date to pick it up so there's no way possible that's going to happen and when i point this out i get no response back..

it irks me that the company will be up $50 because they have made it impossible for me to use it

Sitting here waiting for DH to get back.

We were all ready, just about to walk out the door at 8:30am to go pear picking when DH answers the phone and agrees to go in to work. He said it'd be an hour tops so he took my van. He called about 30 minutes ago saying he got 2 more calls and will be longer...

He's done OT all this week. Today was supposed to be a family day before the kids go back to school. Now we're stuck at home because he took my van (his doesn't have car seats for the kids). Total first world problem I know, but the kids were really looking forward to pear picking.

Upside: He's got a lot of lieu time now
Downside: He probably wont use it...

I would have thought Geico will be gender neutral being that they are in the insurance business?

That said, life is too short to be getting upset over something like this. If you do, you are allowing Jack / Jackie to live rent free in your head, and keeping you up at night.
