And update on the sick family members.
FIL cannot have shunts put in his heart as he has too many blockages. Docs are talking to him tomorrow to discuss his options.
As for my dad, the docs are kicking around the words " bone cancer" but they are still not sure and not allowing anyone in except mom.
I told #1 son that in no uncertain terms that he is NOT allowed to get sick because I can't handle anymore. Oh and to top things off, I have an UTI. FML!!!!!!!!Just call me Wolfie

FIL's hospital-can it offer a bed for MIL in his room? All the daily driving is not fair to you or DH. Or is there a home for family members with kin in the hospital that MIL can pay a nominal fee to stay at while she is seeing her DH? Alberta Health must have something to help your in-laws with care/driving during this time of need. Healthcare provider referral may be required for MIL to access a hospital hospitality house (Hamilton has one called Mark Preece House and it's a separate entity from the hospital-so community fundraising is vital)--I'm assuming your DH does not have power of attorney for his parents' health care?
You may like to have the driving cleared so you can see your father if that is your wish. If only your horses could leap from one site to another in a blink of an eye for you!Last edited by Ciel; Mon, May 15th, 2017 at 11:06 PM.

Will keep your family members in prayers tonight. FIL can try magnesium in diet but doctors rarely talk nutrition, just pharmacare/surgery, for heart matters. Want your Mom and Dad to do well too. Hugs and pillows (for crying or punching, your choice), Wolfie.
Look up Medical Medium online-maybe one of his books is available at your library. If not, his website has some food and health information worth trying (and there is no dispensing fee to worry about) or sharing with family.
Also, this item is worth mentioning-it is sold in supplement/vitamin stores. http://www.docgiff.com/article/medi-...-heart-attack/2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

1 min in..
918am to 10am - my neigbours aka Peter and Lois from the family guy decide to play crappy guitar music at 9am in the morning. and they don't play well as all sounds like someone is dying. already made numerous complaints to the by law people and they have visited them twice and next is a log to be submitted and up to 5000.00 ticket. but my poor sleep - past few days calling family as my dad was put into a nursing home in Cape Breton so lack of sleep etc and finally everything is good so i could sleep in. Time to complain to the building and if not move to a new unit.Last edited by anastasia1009; Wed, May 17th, 2017 at 02:17 PM.

Pity that apartment dwellers in older buildings don't realize that the walls simply are not concrete to block one person's music from another person's dwelling.
There's a house where someone practices music with amp on and window open on warm days. Sound travels across the yard. They do have access to a performing arts building so why not practice there?2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

You want to try getting an UK passport..When we first came here, you could start the procedure in Montreal, then a few years later it was Ottawa. Then around 2005, Washington . Now it has to be sent to UK passport office which IIRC is in Wales. So you have to make sure that you renew more than 6 months out..
Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

omg same!!
I had atleast ten apps lying around my house. One was dated 2015! DDs photos expired -_- Had to take them again. I just had one of my friends do the reference.
I don`t have solid travel plans so it keeps getting set on the back burner.
My rant is the health care system is so messed up (Yes, happy it's not $2500 a visit) but everything is so textbook and protocols are pure bullsh*t

i feel your pain.. i know your pain well.. i have a neighbor who likes to play (another neighbor thinks he's a music teacher) i'm regularly treated to listening to the scales repeatedly, the sound of what i think is a dying elephant preformed on a saxophone, and a range of different guitar levels with the occasional piano tossed into the mix...When life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....

There's a newer house not near me where someone is always playing classical piano music and it's in a higher density survey but I enjoy hearing that when I pass by on the sidewalk (though I do wonder if the player has other interests).
It's the amplified music-if it's too loud for the player's room then why open the window and make neighbours hear it?
With apartments-the issue is that almost no building seems to have sufficient acoustic buffering materials in the walls so of course one person's music is another person's noise.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Someone in the area last night had too much holiday spirit and had fireworks going off from 10:30pm to almost 11:30pm. Then Mother Nature came through with the evening rain forecast and started the rain. No more after 11pm fireworks (City bylaw limits things to 11pm). Way to go, Mother Nature!
(Next time, start the downpours just before 11pm.)
