Hi everyone,
Lets just say you had $100 and you had to spend/use it and not "invest it" in anyway. What would you buy?
I got early presents for my b-day and I got what i needed and was given $$ from an uncle since he doesn't know what I want for a present.
I know this year I am too "old" to be receiving presents from family or what not.
I was thinking for myself a bluetooth headset and a otterbox for my new cellphone or a 20 - 22" TV LCD/LED for my room [I have to add a little more money out of my pocket]
I am having a hard time on what to spend LOL
I was thinking to treat out my parents and bother out for dinner with that $100 but i don't think $100 can do much to enjoy with $100 ... even not at Mandarin for dinner since it'll be more then $100 after taxes not including tips. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Hmm good question! Shoes and/or clothes (and no I don't have an entire closet of shoes lol... I have one pair of flats, one pair of last year's flip flops, and Saucony's for running). Yah, definitely think that's what I'm getting for myself :p

I usually buy groceries.....or snow suits and boots for my kids.
If I want something, I buy it, so getting money as a gift for me is just money I will spend on something I need at that point in time.
I think I have several thousand dollars in IOUs to myself from buying groceries with birthday money.
Those that REALLY love me and know me know to buy me perfume. Lol.
There ya go....you can go buy me perfumeLove like crazy everyday and smile.

I'm in the process of moving and have a larger room and smaller storage space so would try to find a nice night table with drawers second hand since I don't currently have one, and then go shopping for a pair of ballet flats since I am still in desperate need of a nice pair.

I'd go on a date with hubby (but of course do things I wanted to do lol).....the zoo...maybe a movie....Thai food....oh what fun we could have lol
But if it was something specifically for me, it's between a lens I want for my camera or I'd wait and go to the Coach outlet.

I would take my grandchildren to a store and split it evenly between them. For me, the gift would be to see how excited their little faces get about having a choice on what they could buy with the money.
We all need a little sunshine every now and then

I would put it towards either a tent or a camping trip. My uncle is coming to visit for a retirement trip and he loves to camp so I'd love to go with him and DH to a park camping for a few days.

Well! You may find us in your driveway again one day, "Aunt" Sue!! We just picked up our new trailer today and are going camping with 'the kids' this weekend! The bought theirs last year. We're SO excited to be on the road on our new adventures!!! Jenny misses her Aunt Sue and Uncle Matt!! But we're probably visiting area parks here this summer, getting into the swing of camping again...if you can call this camping...lol!!!
Enjoy your visit with your uncle...I'm sure he'll be just as happy enjoying your beautiful home!!
