I'm very thankful for my home!!!! My furniture and my food. I got a real eye opener last night taking someone I know groceries. They are living in a 400sq foot room, no couch, tables, nothing. Bed and 3 shelves, 1 hard plastic chair and 1 small stool. I am very blessed.

Very grateful DH's recent health scare has turned into something not so sinister, and for all the wonderful healthcare he received! We are very fortunate to have wonderful people watching out for us!

I'm feeling so very thankful for my son and husband - all the time, but especially now with my mobility so restricted by an awful bout of sciatica when they are going above and beyond to help me, and with stuff around the house.

Yes and we need to shout it from the rafters because we need to hear about them and not the opposite more often.

So today I am thankful I finished my outdoor projects for the summer and can now enjoy them.

This morning I saw a deer with her baby fawn walk by in the trail behind my place. I was thankful for that. So cute.

I am thankful for my mother, who always knows what to say and gives the best advice to her children. We can talk about anything - how lucky am I.

I am thankful that the little guy can still win, when the cause is just.

I stood up against a bad policy that at city had.
I have been bounced back and forth since April.
Finally took one last shot and wrote the mayor.
Likedy split, the policy was changed in 48 hours!

Fight the good fight. True dat.
Good for me, but also good for the whole city.

ditto that I was just catching up around here and was warmed by the many feel good stories e.g. recession's baby pigeon rescue and the support and care for the not so good situations some are going through.
