What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful every morning, just for waking up and being able to enjoy another day with my wonderful husband and beautiful 9 month old princess.
I am even thankful for my nausea, cause I know that means there is another life growing inside me...and we are SUPER thankful for that.

I agree totally! I'm also grateful for a "golf date" in the warm sunshine with my younger DD! She kicked my butt (she's an amazing golfer), and I loved every minute I spent with her!

After watching yet another emotional documentary about the Firefighters of Sept 11th, I am thankful to ANYONE who is a Firefighter, Police Officer, Paramedic, and First Responder. They put other people's lives before their own everyday....Thank You.

I'm thankful but at the same time dealing with my own health issues which
have worsened. Unfortunately, they often overshadow everything else.
Today is no different, but I've come to SC to be encouraged and take my mind off what ails me.
I'm thankful for still being able to get out of bed and walk. To see the birds at my feeder. To have a roof over my head and food in my stomach.
God is good no matter what.

Skippy I hope you have a easy day. Pain does not make a good companion. In fact it interrupts us contstantly, shows up uninvited, refuses to leave when asked, does not respond to cursing & won't let one get a decent night of sleep........Like an annoying guest?

It's going be kinda nice out there, I really have no doubt.
Maybe you'll relax & let others doing the raking,

Maybe you'll be taxiing kids, cause for some that's weekend kind of way,
Maybe you're gonna crank the tunes & even crack open a beer.
Maybe you'll even reflect that time sure went by fast this year,
Maybe you'll just be low key & keep to a quiet roar,
Maybe you remember something you need & whip out to the store,
In a long winded sort of a way, it's weekend wishes for one & all,

I`m thankful that I live near the Spinrite Factory Outlet. I went to their sale yesterday and saved over $800 on crochet cotton.

I am thankful that even now as the Fall and winter approaches we can still enjoy the quiet and peacefullness of the lake. Thankful for warm fires and lots of firewood. Thankful for my hubby for company and of course the use of the web for communication while here.

Today I learned that I can sever my ties with a very poor employer (part time work).
The last year has been tough not knowing where I stand in my opposition to their illegal policy. Can't express too much, because all won't be signed off until a month.

But I am thankful that a very bad situation is ending on a positive note.
If anyone is faced with a tough uphill battle with an employer, stick to your guns, know your rights, document everything and don't give up hope!

Today I learned that when you think you love your DD's and DS's as much as you can, in their time of need, you will love them even more than you knew you could and stand beside them and help the on their uphill battle.
