We made a few loaves of bread in the bread maker since pandemic but I don't really like it. The smell turns me off and I don't like the taste. Other family members don't mind it. So I researched how to make no-knead bread in the oven. I found one that bakes (in this case, steam) in a dutch oven. I made 3 half loaves of bread so far in my 2 quart Le Creuset pot. I adjusted the amount of salt so now it's perfect.
I used this recipe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0t8...4s&app=desktop
We are huge baseball fans and kids owns a few autographed baseballs so her joke was hilarious. Showed the video to my daughter and she got a chuckle too.
Then I started to research on amazon.ca how much a dutch oven costs. I really don't want to spend too much, around $60. I saw some and added to my cart at night. DH also found some and added to cart. It was late, I was getting tired so I left it for the next morning.
Next day (yesterday), all prices went up from $10-$60. I hate how amazon monitors my searches and then bump up the price. Moral of the story, do all searches on incognito. My daughter was looking for something a couple of weeks ago and the prices kept fluctuating. When the price went back down, she bought it. A couple of days later, price went even cheaper. I told her to cancel order (hasn't shipped yet) and reorder. She's very happy. Price was cheaper than original price.
Since amazon was a no go, I searched Craigslist and Kijiji. I saw a 7 quart Le Creuset for $40 on Kijiji. The enamel of the bottom of the pot was completely gone. I really don't care since the bottom will be covered with parchment paper and in the oven. It's a dedicated bread maker. It was posted within the last half hour with 0 visits. I sent the link to DH to try to get it. Maybe asked him if he is willing to barter. He wants cash so DH offered $25 and offer accepted.
Picked it up yesterday and I am extremely happy. Now I can make a full loaf and can share with my mom.

IDK about nowadays, but Cdn Tire used to put ~5L enameled cast iron DOs on sale for $29.99 every month or so, and PC stores have had them at this price a few times over the past year - not Le Creuset, but as someone who has four DOs used almost exclusively for bread, I wouldn't even consider paying any of the premium brands.
If you have a roaster or even just a big pot that can stand 450 degrees, you don't even need a DO. Just put the dough on something flat (a cookie sheet or even foil will do although something with thermal mass like a pizza stone is better), then invert the roaster over it. I do this fairly often, any time I don't want a loaf that's either round or oval, which are the two shapes of DO I own.
And if you want to get even more flavor, instead of using warm water to speed up the proofing time, use a recipe that uses minimal yeast and a longer fermenting time, even up to 24 hours. It takes marginally more planning ahead, but IMO, it's well worth it. And it's basically no more work since the dough just sits longer to proof. It's also not hard to learn to control when it's ready to bake by moving it into the fridge to slow down the proofing.

If you go to the royale site there should be a link to $2 printable smartsource coupon for the paper towels. Smartsource Link:

I think it depends on the store/cashier you go to.

I’ve been a little disappointed in the lack of coupons offered on the P & G website but thanks to the great timing of yesterday’s blog I loaded the P &G offers while I was in RCSS. Bought 6 Swiffer starter kits PM $4.49 Freshco $26.94 + 3.50 tax - $30.44
used 6 - $3 coupons = $18
personal offer $5 - 1000 pts = 5000
P & G offer $8 - 2000 = 6000 pts
total coupons and points value $29
$30.44 - 29.00 = $1.44 for 6 kits
