RCSS is clearing out their 350g solid choc bunnies for $1.14, so I bought an entire case of 24x; I guess you could call it an entire chocolate chub.

A small one, but in any case... at RCSS, 2 bags of pink-stickered bananas, so 59 cents a pound less 30%. They still had some green and no brown spots whatsoever, so IDK why they had been marked down. They weighed almost exactly 5 lb, so the total cost was $2.03, and one of our accounts had 2 of the same 200 pts/$1 offer, so 800 pts back.

100x packages of 2-pound pasta of various types. macaroni, spagetti, rigatoni, rotini, etc. $1.27 / package. It wasn't a great price, but it was good enough, given current inflationary circumstances. Walmart doesn't have many good sale prices but, when they do, they don't screw around and try to limit customer purchases. I cleaned out 3x stores, but there were other folks likely thinking the same thing. Shelves were laid bare.

Sometimes, they are marked down if there are some loose ones or doubles that customers are not likely to purchase individually.

Yes, I've seen bags like that, but these were full bunches. And fwiw, I buy singles and doubles fairly often. They're my go-to when I need to round up my purchase to redeem points.

    Loblaws. SCOP on Romaine Lettuce.
Cashier had no clue what a SCOP was. Called over a passing by "manager" (looked more like a stock boy) and he said give him the price on the shelf. I told her that is NOT how it works, stood my ground until she called a real supervisor who checked the shelf and gave me the SCOP.

    Savings: $3.99

Never back down. Never surrender. Especially at Loblaws!!

3x 2-litre cartons of choc milk at Walmart for $1.24

Also, rescued 2x cartons of eggs, 2x bags of shredded cheese, and a dozen pudding cups from the dumpster.

I will say never back down and never surrender to Loblaws, but I would NEVER fight back against the clerks/cashiers. They are barely making anything as it is, but the managers on the other hand... Them you could definitely put the fight up against. Most of the time, we are just being told what to do by them and the rules and polices that are in place...

There was no fighting back. There was simply standing my ground for what I was due. I never yelled. I never raised my voice. I stood my ground. I am entitled to do that.

If she had properly called a customer service person or supervisor the first time it would have been sorted. To pull over someone and call them a manager who had no idea about scop then they were not a manager and I was being played. No thanks

I stand by my decisions and would do it all again.
