I may have mentioned " a few times " on different threads that DH only drinks the one type of Tassimo coffee, the Breakfast one. NF had Tassimo on sale this week ( ends tomorrow )
for $5.77 PLUS 1,000 points on every package. Yeah, great except that out of the FOUR different NF locations I went to none of them had the Breakfast kind. Grrrr.
Giant Tiger to the rescue! Their sale price started today ( $5.97 ) with a limit of 3.
Self checkouts mean I can go in and out to get a few extra! tee hee. We are once again stocked up.
OH!! one other deal was on a rack at NF there were packages of Tassimo Decaf marked at 50% off, so I grabbed 3 expecting them to be 50% off of $5.97.
All 3 rang through at 50% off of $3.94 and then they gave me 3,000 PC points as well! ha ha
Subtracting the $3.00 in points I paid .97 a package...bwahaha!!! After that exhausting morning I really need to nap.

Flashfood. 1.45 kg Butcher's choice mild Italian sausage for $2. They had 4 but I only got 2 since that will last us at least 5-6 months, plus the freezer is already filled more than it should be. ;p

I was selecting some discounted pastries at Walmart, to bring as a token of appreciation to the hard-working staff on the hospital ward. It was 1630h and the packages had been discounted 25% and another 25%. I knew that they would discount then one more time for the night.
There was an older couple also selecting some pastries and I told them to come with me and get another 25% discount. We took them to staff and asked for the third discount. Originally, she refused and said that they had already been discounted 3 times, but only used 2 stickers. I told her No Way. The price after 3-discounts should be $2.10 She gave me my three discounts and my new friends also got their selections heavily discounted. In fact, the fellow went back and grabbed a whole bunch of addition pies and muffins to freeze! Good for him. They thanked me for the help getting the price down to 54% of normal. I just told them that I helped them today and they would have to help someone else tomorrow. My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

I happened to be at the right place and right time. RCSS PC free from bacon 375g expire mid-Oct was $1.94. I grabbed 10 packs and 1 small pack of breakfast sausages to make up $25 so I can get 2,500 points (personal offer). There were a lot of bacon but I wasn't sure if we would like the maple flavour. Cooked up a pack of bacon the same day and we all liked it. Came back to the store the next morning and they changed the price back to $7.49, same expiry date.
I have some buy 2 maple leaf bacon and get $4 off coupon that expires soon but there's no sale right now to use the coupon. So I was lucky to find the PC bacon on sale.
Loblaws has PC Blue Menu Sparkling Water 12x 355ml cans for $3.49 from Sept 21 to Sept 27 when you scan your PC Optimum card. There is also a loadable offer for 2000 points for every purchase found here: https://www.pcoptimum.ca/load?page=MKDi ... on20230202
Makes it $1.49 after pointsLast edited by Purdee; Fri, Sep 22nd, 2023 at 11:52 AM.

I personally like the PC Blue menu flavours, I mean they are what they are right? For me it's better than drinking a Coke Zero. DH calls them insipid, which is not really a glowing recommendation but I know why he says that, it's because the " flavours " are so scant it seems like false advertising to call them lime or blueberry pomegranate, etc.
With an OOP cost of $1.49 for 12 cans ya can't really go wrong. Bottoms up!
