I just went shopping at Sobeys for 10% off Tuesday. It's always interesting to do this with our 7 month old twins in the double stroller and our 3.5yr old son in the shopping cart. He got a free cookie from the bakery.
Old Dutch $3.99 + tax - FPC - 10% Tuesday = $0.40 towards the rest of my purchases
2x Case of KD (12 individual boxes) rain check $7.99 - 10% Tuesday = $7.29 + 60AM bonus
8" bread knife - Sobeys stickers = free
kitchen scissors - Sobeys stickers = free

I got a rain check for 2/$5 Robin Hoid rolled oats 1kg bags - 10% off (if I buy $50 in groceries) + free Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk wub2 Robin Hood products. I also have 50c off coupons to use on the rolled oats when I redeem the rain check. Too bad the rolled oats were already out of stock, we use a lot when baking at home.

Sunlight laundry detergent bought 3 @ $3.98 each then there was 1000 PC points each -3 $.50 coupons and 1000 points for every $5 of sunlight laundry so $11.94 - $5 in points and $1.50 in coupons so $5.44 for 3 when you factor in points.

Another Maple Leaf/Schneiders deal: On the front page of the Sobeys (ON) flyer, Schneiders Red Hots and Maple Leaf Top Dogs are listed on sale for $3.00. When I was at Sobeys today, I noticed that Schneiders Country Naturals wieners were also on sale for $3.00 (not listed in the flyer). So . . .

3 x Schneiders Country Naturals wieners @ $3.00 each - 3 x $2.50 coupons = $1.50

1 x Maple Leaf Stuffed Chicken Breasts @ $5.00 (on sale this week) - B3G1 coupon = FREE (with the peelie coupon booklet attached)

So, for all 4 products, I paid a grand total of $1.50!

Have I mentioned that I LOVE these Maple Leaf/Schneiders coupon booklets?

The Maple Leaf Stuffed Chicken Breasts coupon is part of a peelie booklet attached to the box of ML Stuffed Chicken Breasts. The top coupon is "buy any 3 Schneiders or Maple Leaf products and get either a FREE Maple Leaf Stuffed Chicken Breasts OR a FREE Maple Leaf Ready Crisp Bacon". You can peel it off at the check-out and use it immediately. I hope that helps!

Oh, and did you notice a nice little surprise on your Sobeys receipt? I didn't notice until today but I earned 30 bonus Air Miles from my purchase yesterday. Since the only items on my receipt were 3 packages of Schneiders Country Naturals Wieners and 1 box of Maple Leaf Stuffed Chicken Breasts (for a grand total of $1.50), I'm wondering if Sobeys has carried the 30 bonus Air Miles from last week over into this week.

I paid $1.50 and earned 30 AM ($3.00 value)!

Wow--you're good! I've got to pay attention to what these coupons can buy!

It's becoming addictive. Now, whenever the new flyers are posted, the first thing I look for is whether Schneiders or Maple Leaf products are on sale and, if they are, how I can optimize my savings by using the coupons. With the stockpile of Stuffed Chicken Breasts and Ready Crisp Bacon I've accumulated (much to my husband's delight!), I have a LOT of those wonderful coupons to use when planning my strategies.

I have the same addiction!

This morning I went to Sobeys for Hotdogs and Ready Crisp Bacon... Spent $25.50 and got just under 700 airmiles (A little over $70 in points)... I danced out of the store with 17 new coupon booklets from the bacon!
