Found 2x 4-litre jugs of choc milk at Freshco with 1 day before sale date for $3.75 each. I had to chase down workers, but found a new fellow who was willing to help. He told me that all I needed to do was take it to the cashier and she would give me the 50% discount. I pointed out to him that I did exactly that last week and was told it was not possible. I told him to grab the manager.
He got someone to help. She told him how to do the discount and where the discount stickers were located. I guess he was a newly hired fellow. Afterwards, I thanked the lady for helping him and she told me that it wasn't even her area and that a manager wasn't available. Imagine that. How typical that the normal staff/mgmt could not (or would not) do their jobs and it took a mature employee to step up and fill the void. (She sounded eastern European. Maybe she's a Ukrainian refugee.) I think it significant to note that neither of the two employees who tried to help me were S.Asians, who seem to be helpless or unwilling to anything not immediately authorized by a supervisor. My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

Not as good as 'free BBQ sauce from Sobeys', but Walmart had 3x 455mL Heinz BBQ sauce for $0.58 each
I had some for $0.44, but thought to stock up more since the price will likely never be as low, again. My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

I was looking for cream of tartar-which we use to bake scones. A small can was 5.49 at No Frills and a bottle was 9.89 at Bulk Barn. I couldn't bring myself to pay these prices. A 100 gram bag was 2.29 at Walmart so much more reasonable.

@lizzie bargain the only time I recall using cream of tarter is when I make icing to glue the Gingerbread pieces together on a house. So it's pretty rare that I use any.
Great work finding a less expensive price at WM.

Splurged on a Ninja Slushi machine from RCSS last weekend. Got $45 worth of points back...so when I saw a deal for cheap pop on IG, I headed over to Sobeys today.
2L Compliments brand pop $.99 each, + earn 100 scene points for every two.
Bought cola, rootbeer, cream soda, orange, grape, black cherry, lemonade, lemon-lime
