I don't really buy junk at all but I know the kids like it now and again and in summer I usually buy them treats when we are road tripping/beaching etc.
Found chocolate deal at SDM. Clearance but expiry dates were long away. I bought:
4 x 4pk Dairy milk choc bars .99
4 x Skor mini bites $1.49
The Dairy milk bars had in store bonus of 1000 pc pts wub 2. The Skor had in store bonus of 3000 pts wub 2. And I didn't realize it but I had a personal offer for Dairy milk bars and received 1000 pts!
Paid with free gift cards from lottery gift card promo and received 9000 pts

we got new cellphones S9 and kept our current plan. Here's how:
this past sunday, i was browsing at rcss with my toddler girl and saw a sign at the mobile shop for $0 samsung phones including the newest S9 and up to 250,000 PCO points. The saleperson came and talked to me. I told him i've been looking to upgrade my phones (S6 and A5 which has a cracked screen for about a year now but still works) and keep my current plan or downsize to a cheaper plan. So he did some checking and to get S9 at $0 i'd have to upgrade to the premium plus tab, which i already know because i've been shopping around (calling different companies and even visited BestBuy). Premium plus tab even with the lowest data package is too expense for us even with my corporate discount. I've been watching the prices and deals since January when my plan expired. I made several phone calls and negotiated just for S8 (not even S9) and could not even get what i wanted.
Rcss mobile shop person said he can upgrade both of my old phones to S9 and i'd only pay the difference for the trade in and that i'd pay no more than $50 per phone plus keep the current planwith the corporate discount of 30% of the primary line. He warned me that i may have to pay $30 per phone for processing fee which is Rogers fee not rcss mobile fee so there's nothing he can do to wave that. I told him i'll have to discuss it over with my husband. He told me the $0 on S9 ends that day. I felt a bit pressured but whatever i still need to discuss with my hubby.
Got home, i told my hubby then called rogers, my current carrier, and they could not offer me a better deal but gave me a one time $30 credit off my bill. Yay!
That evening, hubby and I went back to rcss and upgraded our phones to S9. The PCO points were credited right away so OOP we paid $9 with the S6 trade in and $44 with the A5 trade in. I did not have to pay the $30/line for processing fee; the sale guy was surprised and he thought it was because of my corporate plan. Anyway, they didn't have any S9 in stock but ordered from another local store. This afternoon, we got the text that our phones are in and we went there to pick up the phones.
Very happy with the deal we got.
so deal was 150,000 PCO points for any phone, plus 100,000 plus whatever your old phone worth with the trade in. My S6 was worth $52 and A5 was about $20.

My best deal this week was a dress from Value Village. I got a full length (ankle length skirt) dress for $8.50. My landlord though the price was high but I don't agree. I have been trying to find the same style of dress for a few years now.
For me its worth it to get the kind of dress I was looking for. I had to shop so at so many stores to find the style I wanted.
