Best by date is today, so the sausages are already portioned and in the freezer, while the meatballs, which I cooked, will follow as soon as they've cooled enough. The advertised price for both this week is $11, so almost $5 a pound. What ever happened to the days when Italian sausage was on sale somewhere almost every week for $2 a pound?

I took up 2 but was only allowed to have 1 the manager when the route of the scanning code of practice and give me it for free ( I did not ask for this) but will not sell me the second one for $9.99.
