Here in The Shwa, I actually like it when the cashier calls me Hun, Deeaarr, Luv... I know that cashier won't give me any trouble with my coupons

cashiers in quebec : bonjour/hi --> then reply in one or the other and they can't manage to speak one or the other... If you can't speak one or the other then just use the one you can ..

"Yous" - as in "What would yous like to order?"


"We" as in "How are we feeling today?" (I don't know about YOU but I'M feeling fine!)

The overuse of the word "like"

I've heard people talking and counted at least 20 "like" in the same sentence.

I`m also guilty of all of these. Luckily, none of you have to speak to me in person



But I can add a couple. I hate when people kiss their teeth. (Can I consider this as some sort of noise that comes from a persons mouth?) Swag, yolo... the joy of city living. Not to mention all the clothing articles saying it. Fml.

Ain't---I can't explain the irritation this word causes me
Peeps-- I don't want to be anyone's peep
Cray Cray--Need I say more
People that refer to themselves in the third person----more of a phrase than a word but it merits a mention!!
The 'C' word--never a good time to use this profanity
