that kind of reminds me of a dish I tried making for DH and myself once out of a magazine.

called bibimbap ( I know eh the name sounds crazy to me ? ) but it can vary depending on whatever you choose to put in there with the rice, and the egg is a nice touch!

my breakfast was a brunch again, but I still felt hungry about 2 hrs later, so peeled and sliced a Red Prince Apple and smeared them with Blue Menu Peanut Butter ( just peanuts in ingredient list ) So delicious!

Im going to make Beef & Barley Soup. I bought one of those packets of Campbells Soup Beef & Barley mix. You add the consomee, some beef and the packet. Something different from my usual B & B soup. Anyway, we will see if its good.

The Campbell`s Beef & Barley Soup Mix turned out good. A bit too salty for my taste so i added another cup of water and some more barley. Also i would have preferred a bit more carrots but the stuff is dehydrated. Next time i will add some of my own carrots. All in all, hubby loved the soup and had 2 big bowls of it!

For lunch, im roasting a chicken. Son and his family are coming over for lunch and then on to grandson`s hockey game at 3 pm. So its roast chicken wrapped in bacon, mashed potatoes, gravy, glazed carrots and a salad.
