i use store bought wrappers - too much work for too little gain when considering time and labour for homemade ones

We had some Taco Meat in the fridge so I whipped up a Quick Taco Salad with Romaine, Peppers, Cheddar, Taco Meat, Nacho Crumbs and a Homemade Mexican Dressing using Sour Cream, Yogurt, Salsa and some Milk to thin it out.

I made a batch of large crepes! ( they're still warm ). Instead of vanilla extract I put Orange Blossom water in the batter. Strawberries, raspberries and fresh peaches are all sliced up and sitting in a small bit of sugar in the fridge and will magically turn into a yummy fruit compote! Whipped cream ( canned ) is also at the ready! Wake up guys! It's already noon.

your post reminded me i recently scored some PC orange blossom honey (made in australia) for $0.99; there were 2 other flavours: chili and ginger. I got a bottle of honey ginger as i use it in my tea.

I’ve been craving the turkey sandwiches I used to get from Safeway so today I made a tofurkey sandwich with mustard, vegan mayo, sliced cucumbers, romaine lettuce, vegan cheddar cheese, chopped pickled pepperoncini peppers and cranberry sauce.

    YUM! Craving satisfied.

The Zellers ads for food trucks serving Hot Chicken sandwiches made me crave them, too.

The biggest problem I am having now is eating my first meal too late, often it's a brunch instead of breakfast That makes fitting in the remaining meals and snacks before 7 or 8 p.m. a challenge. It happened again today. I left for grocery shopping and did not eat anything. By the time I returned it's near 11 a.m. Ugh.

Thought I'd make things more efficient by prepping the exact same meal for lunch and dinner right after I ate that late breakfast. This way I am simply heating up the dinner one, which saves time. For each meal there was 2 oz. of sauteed salmon steak meat, 50 grams each roasted butternut squash and sweet potatoes and a garden salad. There was no way to fit snacks in, just lots of water in between meals.

DS asked if we had any sknl/bnl chx breasts in the freezer. Yup....why? He's going to take care of their Monday/Tuesday work meals. He plans to marinate and BBQ the chx breasts. I'm OFF THE HOOK! Maybe I'll think about the guys and their meals again on Wednesday...ha ha

today I " pre-pre-prepped " the lunch, dinner and snack items that will grace my plates later today. Seems to some that lunch time has passed but nope, I ate breakfast late.
I had noticed that if I'm taking too long to get what I need ready for my lunch or dinner and my hunger pang has already gone off, it can spell danger. There was one day where I abandoned the last meal and late snack which I had written down but just grabbed " something " that I thought might be the same caloric value and was right there ready to eat!
Turned out it was more than my allowed for the day....but meh? Today I'll prevent that from occurring.
