Just got a bottle of it across the street - the lady behind the counter said its the same kind of Pepsi the company made back in the 1970's. It is made with real sugar instead of the high fructose corn syrup I think the regular Pepsi is made with now.
If anyone else has tried it, how did you find it? I didnt think its as sweet as the regular Pepsi, but no other complaints otherwise...
At my store its available in the 591ml bottle with the old school logo:
(I havent seen it sold in cans around here but this is the same logo on the bottles)This thread is currently associated with: N/AThe average dog

I haven't seen it here. I won't be trying it although Pepsi is my favourite soft drink it's now on my list of things I cannot have anymore. Darn diabetes.

Haven't seen it - but my son, the Pepsi freak, will be bound to find it!
Gosh, I wish ALL pop - or at least more of it - would have sugar instead of the HFCS crap!

I love it actually. I find that I don't clear my throat as much drinking the throwback as compared to the regular pepsi(made with high fructose corn syrup). Throwback is made with real sugar. Been buying it across the border since it came out. Also tried it few years back when I discovered it in Arkansas(back when we use to drive truck).
I also bought the Mountain Dew Throwback.
To my surprise when shopping today, i found it in WM here in Chatham.Join GROUPON for incredible deals, click here

I don't know the last time I drank regular Pepsi so I guess I can't compare the flavours hahaha.
Maybe I will get one of each kind and do a test.
Edit: bigbertha makes a good point, I also wasn't around in the 70s LOLLast edited by Miss_April; Fri, Jan 28th, 2011 at 07:19 PM.

I wasn't around in the 70s, so I haven't tried this before. I might give it a shot, though, the old logo brings back memories.

I saw cases of these at RCSS tonight...but I didn't realize the pop actually tasted different or was made with different ingredients too. I thought they were just going for the retro look. Made me laugh to see the cases though. hehe. I remember when they looked like that.
