My 13 month old son loves my strawberry fruit smoothie. It's handy right now because he isn't eating much since he got sick on Friday.

A school just called and booked me to teach this Friday morning in a Grade 4 classroom. It is a .59 day at that school. The interesting thing is that this October is the first time that I have taught at this school and it happens to be the school that is closest to my house. They have booked me for 6 separate days this month...my busiest school so far this fall. Hopefully LO is feeling better by then because he will need to be at daycare that morning.

Well got done 2 appointments today, lunch done and cleaned and tidied up the house (with the exception of the dining room table which DS has crafts sprawled out all over).

Going to list a couple things on my Facebook free groups and a couple on Kijiji I no longer need and get veggies ready for spaghetti tonight since it will be a quick dinner after getting the new car back from the shop when DH is done work.

Teachers do not get paid by the hour. Since I am a substitute teacher my pay is based on the portion of a day worked. The school that booked my to teach only needs me to work during the morning. The length of their morning is worth .59 (or 59%) of a teaching day. I will get paid .59 of a day. The substitute teacher rate in this school division is based on a basic first year teacher's pay.
    I hope that helps.

Off home to start dinner. Butterflying boneless skinless chicken for the bbq with rice/perogies and veggies (cleaning out the fridge so onion, peppers, mushrooms and asparagus with garlic )
Enjoy the evening everyone! Hope to report later tonight that I got something extra done other then the regular daily stuff

The boys go crazy over cereal and milk here. We limit them to 1-2 glasses of milk a day or they'd each drink a gallon of it a day rather than drinking water too.

thankfully they are like their Dad and luv oatmeal.. me not so much i gag on it.
with them it seems if its not heated up or served on a plate to them.. they don't eat.. i would love to spend a sunday with them making these ahead of time just so they see how much work is involved but also how easy it is to grab one and eat.
I prefer red river cereal or "sunny boy" over Oatmeal

Sometimes I'm the one in our house that opens the fridge and expects food to just be there....theres almost always leftovers of some sort in there for my lunch at noon!

I saw a pair of boots a the store today and i fell in love. I think it was a good thing i was cardless and cashless or there would have been a spur of the moment boot purchase made. I'm having a hard time now that I'm away from them justifying the extra 65 dollars in the budget for them.
