"Ford More Years"

... and he's the first to throw his hat in the ring for the mayoral election!
Candidates have until Sept. 12 to file their nomination papers, for the election Oct. 27.

Wonder how long Olivia will wait to file?

I can't believe he's running again. I'm not surprised he's the first to register though. He'll need that whole time to raise funds!!

I'd almost bet he'd win!
If he did, TO would deserve what they get.
What a laughing stock he's made of everyone.
Just a big, pushy boor!

Doug will also be his campaign manager. Yay! I wouldn't be surprised if he does win again but I'm hoping that he doesn't. The Torontonians who don't vote for him will be the ones who won't deserve what comes though.

Seriously, if he gets re-elected then Toronto deserves what they get. Maybe it will be a record turn out this time!

Insane, your comment made me curious so I looked up the voter turnout - it was already up from elections before
Voter turnout in Toronto jumped in the 2010 municipal election that saw Rob Ford ushered in as mayor Tuesday, hitting 53.2 per cent compared to 39 per cent in 2006 and 38 per cent in 2003.

There was such a negative reaction to Miller's time as mayor more people seemed to go out and vote because they didn't want another Miller and Ford (at the time) seemed like a great choice. If there is no clear and strong opponent to Ford, I wouldn't be surprised if turnout was lower because many people don't see the point in voting if the person they don't want will win anyway. Ford still has strong support in the Scarborough area and most of the Etobicoke/West area. Although the support for Ford in Scarborough may not be as strong in post-ice storm polls.

People are saying his swearing in Patois is racist.......he didn't say anything racially offensive, he just spoke another language... And his support went up among Jamaican immigrants after!
