My son is moving out in a few weeks to go to university -- first year, so big adjustment (for Mom!). It is expensive buying for another home: food, personal care, home cleaners. So far, I have bought only a few food items for his new apartment, but the majority of the stockpile is personal care and home cleaning products. Last month I discovered SC and I thank all of you for the great information, tips, deals, etc that you have provided. I have saved so much money ! Woo Hoo !

I am in the same boat .... my son is leaving for university as well. I have lots of toothpaste, shave cream, deodorant etc. for him to go.
I want to get some Nestle water and a bunch of other things as well yet. He will be living in residence the first year. Seems like yesterday I took the training wheels off his bike.

That's fantastic! It definitely takes the sting out of those purchases! We forget how much those toiletries and condiments actually cost when starting from scratch. It adds up pretty quick!
Fabulous job!
