Twice today it happened; first the cashier at Target who said "I don't get paid enough for this" when I pointed out she was ringing in my coupons for $1 instead of .75¢. Then I went to Safeway where my bakery order was not done and I heard one of the bakers complaining about having to do it.
Glad my purchases help pay their wages - not.

How rude. It's one thing to complain in private, goodness knows I've done it countless times, but to do it in front of the customer is downright classless. But your complaints were legit! There should have been no reason whatsoever for either of those people to open their mouths, in private or not.

Sadly I cannot tell you how many times I run into this well shopping. I personally find Wal-Mart to be the worst but anywhere is just as bad. I swear I have actually seen employees run the other way when someone says excuse me can you help me. Not to be rude but um hello it is your job and what you are being paid to do. I know customer service can suck at times, I work in customer service and have been yelled at things I did not do and have to apologize for something I have not done it is part of the job, I am getting paid to deal with it.

We as a world need more training in customer service and plain old being nice. You know, we all end up in the same place so why can't we be nice to each other!
SMILE - and make the world a better place
