Forgot to mention -- pls. be careful when buying the clearance food stuffs from Target. I've seen 2-3 items that were already expired! Snack Pack, Nabob coffee and can't recall the other one.

the yogurt gummies are expiring end of feb, but I like them and I think candies should be still fine after the BB date. I m eating one of the bag just now. the jelly belly are expiring end of this year, so still long time to go for those.

I got a couple sweet deals on boys jackets last night. I got 3 for my son that that should be great for next fall/spring. One is a wool dress coat one is a black leather look and one is a grey hooded casual jacket. They were regular price$40 and $45 but I got them each for $5!!!! This was in Moncton NB and they were the Shawn White brand. They had lots of $5 hoodies, sweat pants, casual pants and tshirts for boys as well.

they haven't implemented SCOP across Canada yet, because they are still in the process of setting up stores, and working out the kinks in their system.

I've been eyeing the Skylanders comforter -was marked down to $24.99 (not sure of regular price) last week. Anyone seen these cheaper this week?

I saw the Skylanders Giants comforter ticketed to $14.99 in the St. John's store on Monday or Tuesday. Hope that helps!

When's the best time to catch marked down items? Is it Thursday? end of sale week or Friday start of sale week?

The VH coffee I got last week wasn't fresh, I didn't see the exp on the can but coffee has very faint aroma.

for actually applying the red stickers, they do it all week long, and each store has their own schedule for tackling different departments.

as for when markdowns appear in the computer system, i'm not sure. i'd love to know!

i wish they do SCOP too, I would of got some free candies today, all the clearance stickered candies are scanning at reg price at checkout. may be they just for reduced today and system didn't had time to update yet? not sure....everything else I got was scanning right.

They would still not be SCOP as it never applies to stickered/tagged items

Just remember they are " best before" dates not expiry dates, most food is still perfectly fine after this date

The Target which is close to me, has only very low quality items for clearance for which I wouldn't pay even 1 cent.

As for an expiry date, always check that in any store. I noticed passed expiry products in Walmart and even in Metro, too (which boasts with "always fresh" products).
