    Hello folks! I saw that this thread had resurfaced. Here's our latest:

    Miraculously, we found a new home and sold ours but we had only 3 weeks to put it all together.

    Our new home is at the edge of town and we overlook a lovely field and pond. Very quiet, except for "nature" noises.

    We are in a holding pattern wrt DH's health. He will see another specialist in July who, we hope will be able to help with some on going daily challenges.

    He is slated to be part of a clinical study coming up as well.

    In the meantime, 2 of my very best friends have had to deal with unexpected cancer diagnoses, surgery and stress. Also, mil who is immobile in a nursing home, has had an old knee-replacement go awry and is causing wounds because it is pushing out through her skin from the inside. She sees an orthopaedic surgeon on Monday which might mean surgery. But she is in her late 80s so it's not an easy decision for the family.

    Thank-you for all your kindness! I hope you and your families are in good health! At least this awful winter SEEMS to be coming to an end!
